Quickstart

1. Obtain the Minecraft Mod vehicle placer from the Creative inventory, or use: /give @s com_minecraft_mod_zx23nxxy:my_vehicle_placer 1
2. Craft it at a crafting table:

1. Hold the vehicle placer and use it on the side of a block. The vehicle appears beside the targeted block and automatically seats you.
2. Drive using your normal movement controls. The vehicle faces the direction you were looking when placed.
3. While riding, tap/use the item or press Jump to fire the vehicle cannon. The action bar displays Tap: Fire Vehicle Cannon and shows the remaining cooldown.
4. Dismount using your normal Minecraft dismount input.

The placer is not consumed, so it can be reused after dismounting.

Overview

Minecraft Mod adds a single-seat rideable vehicle for travel and combat. It is a free-driving vehicle rather than a rail-bound minecart, and it can be placed on ordinary blocks.

The vehicle:

• Holds one player.
• Moves under player control.
• Has 40 health.
• Automatically mounts the player when placed.
• Fires fast arrows in the direction the rider is looking.
• Uses a third-person camera while ridden.

What It Adds

Minecraft Mod Vehicle

The vehicle is spawned by using the Minecraft Mod placer. It has one controlling seat for a player and can be pushed by entities and pistons.

Vehicle Cannon

The mounted vehicle includes a cannon that launches a fast arrow projectile. Arrows travel from in front of the rider in the direction they are looking. When a fired arrow hits a block or entity, four critical-hit particles appear at the impact location.

How To Use

Place the Vehicle

Hold the vehicle placer and use it on any block face. The vehicle spawns on the selected side of the block, oriented toward your viewing direction, and mounts you automatically.

Leave enough open space around the target block for the vehicle and rider. If you are already riding a vehicle, using the placer triggers the cannon instead of placing another vehicle.

Ride and Drive

Use the standard movement controls while seated. Look where you want the vehicle cannon to fire. The vehicle has a movement speed value of 0.28 and can travel across water as part of its movement behavior.

Only one player can ride at a time.

Fire the Cannon

While riding, use any of these triggers:

• Tap/use the mounted action.
• Right-click or use the item on supported controls.
• Press Jump.
• Attack while the vehicle’s attack connects with a block or entity.

The cannon fires a minecraft:arrow projectile at speed 3.5. It has an 8-tick cooldown, approximately 0.4 seconds. The action bar shows the cannon name and cooldown while you are mounted.

Dismount

Use the normal Minecraft dismount control. Your camera and hidden equipment are restored when you leave the vehicle.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the vehicle placer at a crafting table with:

• 3 iron ingots
• 1 redstone
• 2 leather
• 1 minecart

/give @s com_minecraft_mod_zx23nxxy:my_vehicle_placer 1

For command-based testing, the vehicle entity can be summoned with:

/summon com_minecraft_mod_zx23nxxy:my_vehicle ~ ~ ~

Abilities And Mechanics

• Single-seat design: Only one player can occupy the vehicle.
• Automatic mounting: Placing the vehicle seats the placer immediately.
• Reusable placer: The vehicle placer remains in your inventory after use.
• Third-person riding view: The camera switches to third person while mounted.
• Cannon cooldown: The cannon can fire again after 8 ticks.
• Arrow impacts: Fired arrows create four critical-hit particles when they hit a block or entity.
• Vehicle durability: The vehicle has 40 health and can be damaged.
• Nameable vehicle: The vehicle supports naming with a name tag.

Progression And Strategy

Craft the vehicle early when you have access to a minecart, iron, redstone, and leather. Use it for fast exploration, then look toward your target before pressing Jump or tapping the mounted action to fire accurately.

Because the cannon fires arrows rather than explosives, it is useful for ranged attacks without configuring block-breaking explosions or fire. Keep open space around the vehicle when placing it, and dismount before using the placer to deploy another vehicle.
