Extra Disclaimer

Quickstart

Install the mod and launch Minecraft. The moment the title screen first loads each game session, a mandatory disclaimer popup appears automatically — no setup required. Work through the three dialog steps to reach the main menu, then play normally. That's all there is to getting started.

Overview

Extra Disclaimer is a purely client-side mod that adds a mandatory acknowledgement flow when you first open the title screen each game launch, intercepts the Mods/Mod Menu button anywhere in the UI, and replaces the vanilla end credits music with a custom audio track. It makes no changes to gameplay, items, blocks, entities, dimensions, controls, or world generation.

What It Adds

• Three-step disclaimer flow shown once per launch on the title screen
• Mods/Mod Menu button blocker active from both the title screen and the pause menu
• Custom end credits music replacing the vanilla credits track

How To Use

The Disclaimer Flow

Every time you launch the game and the title screen appears, a full-screen black backdrop popup opens automatically. You must complete all three steps before you can use the menu:

1. Step 1 – General notice: A dialog advising that the mod has many features and you may need to change your keybinds. Click Okay to continue.
2. Step 2 – Content warning: A warning that some content may be explicit or inappropriate for some audiences. Click Ok to continue.
3. Step 3 – AI elements notice: A message noting AI elements in the mod, asking if you still want to proceed. Click I'll try it to arrive at the title screen, or click Nevermind to close the game entirely.

Note: None of these dialogs can be dismissed with the Escape key. You must click the appropriate button to proceed or exit.

The disclaimer only appears once per game launch. If you restart Minecraft, the flow will play again.

The Mods Button Blocker

If you click the Mods or Mod Menu button — whether from the title screen or from the in-game pause menu — a blocking popup appears with the message:

"This will not work well with the mod, so it will not be included. Sorry"

Click Okay (or press Enter/Space) to dismiss it. If you opened it from the pause menu, you are returned to the game. If you opened it from the title screen, you are returned to the title screen.

The mod itself does not appear in the in-game mods list.

Custom End Credits Music

When the end credits screen rolls (after completing the game), the vanilla credits music is replaced with a custom streamed audio track. The track stops automatically when the credits screen is closed.
