Quickstart
- Enter a world to unlock the recipe, then craft Meteor Bites or find them in the Creative inventory’s Food & Drinks tab.
- Hold one and use the eat control to take a bite.
- Try one before a quick dash or a brief trip through flames: it grants Speed and Fire Resistance for a short time.
Overview
Meteor Bites are stackable food with a fiery kick. Eating one restores 6 hunger points and gives you temporary boosts.

- Meteor Bites: An edible item that stacks up to 64.
Crafting and Obtaining
The recipe is shapeless and makes 4 Meteor Bites:
It uses 2 wheat, 1 sugar, 1 cocoa beans, and 1 gunpowder. The recipe unlocks when you enter a world; you can also take the item from the Creative inventory’s Food & Drinks tab.
Abilities and Mechanics
After eating a Meteor Bite, you receive:
- Speed I for 8 seconds.
- Fire Resistance for 5 seconds.
The speed boost lasts longer than the fire protection, so time your bite with that brief window in mind.
How to install
This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.

2. Click to play on the top of the screen.
3. That's it — launches instantly. No complicated setup required.
