Lucky Apple Pie

Quickstart

1. Gather 3 apples and 2 bread.
2. Craft the pie using the recipe below:

1. Hold the Lucky Apple Pie and use it to eat, just like any other food.
2. After finishing the pie, you restore hunger and receive Luck I for 30 seconds.

You can also find the pie in the Food & Drinks section of the Creative inventory.

Overview

Lucky Apple Pie is a food item that fills a substantial portion of your hunger bar and grants a short burst of luck. It is useful before activities where improved luck can help, such as fishing or opening loot.

What It Adds

• Lucky Apple Pie
  • Restores 8 hunger points—4 hunger icons.
  • Provides a 0.8 saturation modifier.
  • Grants Luck I for 30 seconds after eating.
  • Stacks up to 64.

How To Use

Hold the Lucky Apple Pie in your hand and use the normal eat-food control:

• Java Edition: Right-click while holding the pie.
• Continue using it until the eating animation finishes.

The hunger restoration and Luck effect are applied when you finish eating.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft one Lucky Apple Pie from three apples and two bread arranged in a 3-by-2 pattern:

The recipe is available after entering a world. In Creative mode, take the pie from the Food & Drinks inventory tab.

Abilities And Mechanics

Eating the pie applies the standard Luck effect at level I for 600 game ticks, equal to 30 seconds. Luck can improve outcomes for certain luck-based activities and loot systems.

The pie is a regular food item, so it can be eaten whenever your hunger level allows food consumption. Its effect is applied to the entity that eats it.

Progression And Strategy

• Keep a pie ready before fishing or other activities affected by Luck.
• Use it when you expect to benefit from the effect rather than eating it only for hunger.
• Carry multiple pies for extended exploration; each pie stacks to 64.
