Living Grain Planks

Quickstart

Craft a carved plank variant at a crafting table using two planks of the same wood with flint between them in the row. Each recipe makes two blocks. For example, use oak planks for carved oak planks; see the recipe list below for the other wood types.

Place the blocks like ordinary planks and use their carved grain patterns in your builds. Try combining different wood types to compare their distinct patterns.

Overview

Living Grain Planks is a set of decorative, full-block planks. Each wood type has its own carved pattern, while keeping that wood’s look and color.

What It Adds

The mod adds carved versions of oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, pale oak, bamboo, crimson, warped, and poplar planks.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft each variant with two matching planks and one flint in a crafting table. The planks go on either side of the flint in the same row.

How To Use

Place carved planks as you would other full blocks to add patterned wood surfaces to walls, floors, and other builds. Use an axe to mine them.
