Limitless Matrix

Quickstart

1. Run /matrix start in chat to receive your Matrix Codex and 4 starter Data Shards.
2. Press M at any time to open the Matrix Terminal, a full-screen guide to the mod's systems.
3. Right-click the Matrix Codex in your hand for a quick reminder of the M keybind.
4. Use /matrix quest complete (or the "Complete selected quest" button inside the terminal) to archive a quest and earn rewards.
5. Check your progress anytime with /matrix status.

Overview

Limitless Matrix turns survival into a guided progression experience. Instead of wandering aimlessly, you carry a Matrix Codex that doubles as your quest log and field manual, and you can pull up the Matrix Terminal — an in-game documentation browser — to read about quests, dimensions, bosses, and the overall progression path. Completing quests rewards you with Data Shards and Matrix Credits, the mod's core currencies for advancing further.

What It Adds

A dedicated keybind (M, rebindable in Controls) opens the Matrix Terminal, a stylish cyan-on-dark interface with a navigation panel covering:

• Home – introduction and feature overview
• Getting Started – first steps for new players
• Quest Book – categories of quests (Welcome, Survival Basics, Matrix Awakening, Technology, Magic, Storage, Farming, Exploration, Bosses, Endgame, Creative Tier)
• Mods – directory of thematic content areas (Technology, Magic, World/Exploration)
• Dimensions – lore and prep tips for the Matrix Rift
• Bosses – intel on the Rival Architect encounter
• Progression – a visual map of the overall advancement path
• Guides – quality-of-life tips (backpacks, waystones, quest pinning, teams, markets)
• Wiki – in-depth documentation entries
• Downloads – where to find the mod and how to share it with a server

How To Use

• Get started: /matrix start gives you the Matrix Codex plus 4 Data Shards and confirms setup in chat.
• Open the terminal: Press M anywhere, anytime, to browse the navigation pages listed above.
• Track quests: Use the Quest Book page in the terminal to see quest categories and objectives.
• Complete a quest: Click "Complete selected quest" in the terminal, or type /matrix quest complete. This grants 2 Data Shards and 1 Matrix Credit, and increases your quest completion count.
• Check your progress: /matrix status reports how many quests you've completed so far.
• Read the Codex: Right-click it in hand for a quick reminder, or hover over it in your inventory to see its tooltip.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Matrix Codex, Data Shards, and Matrix Credits are obtained through play rather than crafted at a workbench:

• The Matrix Codex and your first Data Shards come from running /matrix start.
• Additional Data Shards and Matrix Credits are earned by completing quests via /matrix quest complete.
• All three items can also be found in the Ingredients and Tools creative inventory tabs for reference or testing.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Quest tracking: Your completed-quest count is tracked per player and persists on the server, viewable with /matrix status.
• Terminal navigation: The Matrix Terminal is a self-contained browser — clicking a category on the left updates the page content on the right, letting you explore lore, guides, and systems without leaving the game.
• Currency loop: Data Shards and Matrix Credits accumulate as you complete quests, forming the basis for future progression tiers described in the terminal's Progression page.

Progression And Strategy

The terminal's Progression page lays out the intended journey: starting from Survival, players branch into paths like Technology, Magic, and Exploration, converging through Automation, Bosses, and ultimately the Rival Architect encounter before reaching the Creative Tier. Use the Quest Book to pick a category that interests you, complete quests to build up Data Shards and Matrix Credits, and consult the Dimensions and Bosses pages to prepare before tackling tougher challenges like crossing into the Matrix Rift or facing the Rival Architect.
