Leather Bloom

Quickstart

1. Open a crafting table and craft Leather Dye from planks:

You can also craft it from a Bloom Flower: . 2. Hold the Leather Dye and press Use to open the Leather Bloom menu. The dye is reusable. 3. Select Begin Bloom Trial. 4. Defeat three waves of husks before the 90-second timer expires:

• Wave 1: 3 husks
• Wave 2: 4 husks
• Wave 3: 5 husks

1. On success, collect the Leather Glazed Terracotta, Leather Wool, and Bloom Flowers dropped at your feet.
2. Use the new blocks in rustic brown builds, or use Leather Dye again to check your Bloom XP and level.

Overview

Leather Bloom adds a brown, leather-inspired building palette along with a reusable Leather Dye menu and a combat-based Bloom Trial. Craft the dye from common materials, fight through the trial to earn XP and decorative blocks, and unlock a one-time Garden Kit at level 3.

All added blocks and items can also be found in the Creative inventory.

What It Adds

How To Use

Leather Dye Menu

Hold Leather Dye and press Use to open the menu. It displays:

• Your current Leather Bloom level
• Your total Bloom XP
• The status of any active trial
• The Begin Bloom Trial option
• The Claim Garden Kit option when unlocked

Using the dye does not consume it.

Bloom Trial

Starting a trial spawns husks around your current location. The action bar shows the current wave, defeated husks, and remaining time.

You must personally defeat the trial husks for them to count. Completing a wave immediately starts the next one. Finishing all three waves completes the trial.

If the timer expires, the trial ends and its temporary husks are removed. XP already earned from defeated husks and completed waves remains, but the completion reward is not awarded.

Building With the New Blocks

• Use a pickaxe for Leather Concrete, Chiseled Leather Concrete, and Leather Glazed Terracotta.
• Use a shovel for Leather Concrete Powder.
• Use an axe for Leather Wool.
• Place Bloom Flowers as decorative plants.

The added blocks drop themselves when mined.

Leather Glazed Terracotta

Combine Leather Dye with a supported vanilla glazed terracotta block to make Leather Glazed Terracotta. The available color recipes are shown below; hover over a recipe icon for its exact input.

Abilities And Mechanics

Bloom XP

You earn Bloom XP during Bloom Trials:

Levels are based on total Bloom XP. You begin at level 1, and each additional level requires another 50 XP threshold. Level 3 is reached at 100 Bloom XP.

Garden Kit

At level 3, use Leather Dye and choose Claim Garden Kit. The kit can only be claimed once and drops:

• 2 Leather Dye
• 8 Bloom Flowers

The items appear at your feet, so collect them after claiming the kit.

Progression And Strategy

• Start with the plank-to-Leather Dye recipe so you can immediately access the menu.
• Begin trials in a clear area with room to fight around you.
• Keep track of the action-bar timer rather than wandering far from the trial area.
• Defeat every husk in the current wave quickly; the next wave begins as soon as the required number is defeated.
• Reach level 3 to claim the Garden Kit and expand your supply of dye and Bloom Flowers.
• Use Leather Concrete Powder for quicker construction, then craft solid Leather Concrete or Chiseled Leather Concrete for finished surfaces.
• Mix Leather Wool, Bloom Flowers, and Leather Glazed Terracotta with other brown and rustic materials for cohesive interiors, workshops, barns, and village-style builds.
