Knijkincraft

Quickstart

1. Open the Knijkincraft creative tab to find every item and block added by this mod.
2. Craft a Mixing Bowl and start experimenting with blue chemistry to produce Blue Substance.
3. Find or craft a Jetpack and matching Jetpack Pilot armor, equip it, and use Space/Shift to fly.
4. Build an Elandium Ore frame, right-click it with an E-Land Crystal to open a portal to E-Land.
5. Craft a pair of Teleporter/Receiver Pads and use a Pad Linker to connect them for instant travel.
6. Craft a Radiation Bomb and Detonator to arm and remotely trigger a radioactive blast — bring a Gas Mask for protection.

Overview

Knijkincraft blends several playgrounds into one mod: jet-powered flight, a chemistry-lab crafting loop that produces a mysterious "Blue Substance," radioactive weaponry, a portal dimension called E-Land, and a network of linked teleporter pads. A silent, dangerous mob — the Headless Zombie — lurks and rewards careful observation. There are also a handful of strange trinkets: a cigarette that boosts speed (with a dark side), a dagger that punishes turned backs, and a watch that freezes time itself.

What It Adds

Flight & Armor

• Jetpack, Jetpack Pilot Helmet, Leggings, and Boots — flight-enabling gear.
• Gas Mask — protects the wearer from radiation damage.

Chemistry & Substances

• Mixing Bowl (block) and Mortar — used together to cook chemical ingredients into Blue Substance.
• Hydrogen, Methylamine, Phenylacetone, Methone — raw chemical ingredients.
• Crushed Blue and Solid Blue Substance Block — processed/refined forms of the substance.
• Blue Cigarette — a smokable item with combat and side-effect properties.
• Custom Flint — needed to "light" the cigarette.

Explosives & Radiation

• Sulfur, Black Powder, Volatile Explosive Compound — combustible crafting materials (the compound explodes a few seconds after being thrown or dropped).
• Radiation Bomb and Detonator — a plantable/armable bomb triggered remotely.
• Radiation status effect — deals periodic magic damage and nausea unless the target is protected.
• Confusion status effect — a disorienting effect tied to blue substance abuse.

E-Land Dimension

• Elandium Ore — a special ore block, required to build portal frames.
• E-Land Crystal — activates a portal when used on a completed Elandium frame.
• E-Land Portal — the block that teleports players between the Overworld and E-Land.

Teleporter Network

• Teleporter Pad and Receiver Pad — walk-on blocks that teleport players when linked.
• Pad Linker — an item used to bond two pads together into a connected pair.

Oddities

• Hidden Dagger — a weapon that deals a devastating attack against a target whose back is turned toward the attacker.
• Time Stop Watch — freezes time on use.
• Headless Zombie — a fast, hard-hitting mob that vanishes and drops an E-Land Crystal if a player looks directly at it long enough.

How To Use

Jetpacks

Equip the Jetpack item along with the Jetpack Pilot Helmet, Leggings, and Boots. While worn, use the configurable jetpack ascent (default Space) and jetpack descent (default Shift) keys to control vertical flight.

Chemistry: Making Blue Substance

1. Place a Mixing Bowl block.
2. Right-click it while holding each of the four ingredients — Hydrogen, Methylamine, Phenylacetone, and Methone — one at a time to add them to the bowl.
3. Once all four ingredients are inside, right-click the bowl with a Mortar to grind them into Blue Substance.
4. Alternatively, add a single Blue Substance item to an empty bowl and grind it with the Mortar to get Crushed Blue back out.
5. Blue Substance can be compressed into a Solid Blue Substance Block, which can be mined — striking it with an axe crushes it back into Crushed Blue.

Blue Cigarettes

• Craft a base cigarette:

• Combine a cigarette with a Solid Blue Substance Block to make an enhanced version:

• To smoke it, hold the cigarette and have a Custom Flint in your other hand, then use the item. It grants Speed. If Blue Substance is also in hand, it also inflicts Blindness and Confusion — a risky trade-off.

Explosives

• Craft a Detonator:

• Use a Radiation Bomb to arm it in your current dimension.
• Use the Detonator anywhere in that dimension to trigger the armed bomb remotely (has a short cooldown, and only works if a bomb is armed).
• Volatile Explosive Compound detonates roughly five seconds after being thrown or dropped — handle with care.

E-Land Portals

1. Build a rectangular frame out of Elandium Ore (a hollow frame, similar in shape to a Nether portal frame).
2. Right-click inside the frame with an E-Land Crystal to fill it with E-Land Portal blocks.
3. Walk into the portal to travel between the Overworld and the E-Land dimension. Walking back through a portal in E-Land returns you to the Overworld.

Teleporter Pads

1. Place two Teleporter/Receiver Pad blocks (they must be in the same dimension).
2. Hold a Pad Linker and right-click the first pad — you'll be prompted to click the second pad.
3. Right-click the second pad to complete the link.
4. Step on either linked pad to be teleported to its paired pad.

The Headless Zombie

This mob hits extremely hard in melee and moves quickly, so avoid direct combat. Instead, keep it in view directly in front of you for a few seconds — if it can see that you're looking at it, it will vanish and drop an E-Land Crystal, a valuable shortcut to portal-building.

Radiation

Radiation is a harmful status effect that periodically damages the player and causes nausea. Wearing a Gas Mask protects against its effects.

Other items such as the Jetpack, armor pieces, Gas Mask, Elandium Ore, E-Land Crystal, Teleporter/Receiver Pads, Pad Linker, Radiation Bomb, Mortar, and raw chemical ingredients are found or obtained through world generation, mob drops, or the creative inventory, and are combined using the crafting steps described above.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Radiation: deals periodic magic damage and nausea; blocked by wearing a Gas Mask.
• Confusion: a disorienting effect gained from combining blue substance with a lit cigarette.
• Bomb arming/detonation: bombs are placed in a "ready" state per dimension and can be triggered remotely once, with a short reuse delay on the detonator.
• Portal linking: E-Land portals are tied to a fixed frame shape, while teleporter pads can be freely re-linked using the Pad Linker.
• Headless Zombie detection: requires the zombie to be within 16 blocks, in your direct line of sight, and unobstructed for a few seconds to trigger its despawn-and-drop behavior.

Progression And Strategy

Start by mastering the chemistry loop — Blue Substance and its solid block form unlock the enhanced cigarette and feed into other blue-tech uses. Build up materials for a Jetpack early to make exploring and portal-frame construction faster. Hunt Headless Zombies carefully (never melee them) to farm E-Land Crystals, which are the key to opening the E-Land dimension. Once you have Elandium Ore and crystals, establish a permanent portal, then set up a teleporter pad network with the Pad Linker to move quickly between your base, resource sites, and the E-Land portal. Keep a Gas Mask on hand once you start working with Radiation Bombs, since radiation damage can quickly wear down unprotected players.
