Quickstart

1. Collect iron ingots and sticks — these are all you need.
2. Craft the Iron Volley at a crafting table:

1. Place the Iron Volley in your hand.
2. Right-click / use the item to fire. Each trigger pull unleashes a 3-round burst of arrows at your target.

Overview

The Iron Volley is an AK-47-inspired iron firearm that gives Minecraft players a fast, burst-fire ranged weapon. It launches real arrow projectiles at high velocity, complete with a muzzle-flash particle effect and a sharp gunshot sound audible to nearby players. A subtle camera shake provides satisfying recoil feedback on every burst.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Firing: Right-click (or use the interact button on controller/touch) while holding the Iron Volley. The weapon fires a burst of 3 arrows in rapid succession, each aimed in the exact direction you are looking.
• Cooldown: A short cooldown prevents spamming bursts back-to-back, keeping combat balanced.
• Recoil: Your camera shakes slightly with each burst, giving a realistic feel without impairing your aim significantly.
• Muzzle flash: A flame particle appears at the barrel tip with each shot.
• Sound: An explosion-style gunshot sound plays, heard by anyone within 20 blocks.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Iron Volley is crafted at a crafting table using iron ingots and sticks. It is found in the Equipment tab of your inventory.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Arrows travel fast (high launch speed), making it effective at medium range.
• Each shot consumes durability; the weapon loses 1 durability per round fired.
• Enchant it with Power, Punch, or Infinity (bow enchantments) for enhanced performance.

Progression And Strategy

• Early game: The Iron Volley requires only iron ingots and sticks, making it accessible as soon as you have iron gear.
• Combat tip: Fire bursts in quick succession against groups of mobs or hostile players — three fast arrows deal significant damage before enemies can close the gap.
• Durability management: Carry spare iron ingots to repair the Iron Volley at an anvil, or apply Mending to keep it topped up passively.
• Enchanting: Prioritize Power for raw damage, Punch to knock enemies back, or Infinity if arrow supply is a concern. The enchantability is modest, so use a higher-level enchanting table for the best results.
