Guardian Sisters
Quickstart
Install the .mcaddon and apply both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack to your world. Once you load in, your squad of ten Guardian Sisters spawns automatically around you — no crafting, no commands, no setup required. They appear within a few seconds of the world loading. Walk toward a hostile mob and watch them open fire. That's all there is to getting started.
If you want to spawn an individual Sister manually (for testing or decoration), use a Guardian Sister Spawn Egg from the Creative inventory.
Overview
Guardian Sisters adds a permanent, self-managing squad of ten female ranged-fighter NPCs to your world. They follow you everywhere — including across dimensions — automatically engage hostile mobs, heal themselves over time, and respawn any fallen members after a waiting period. No commands, no taming, and no maintenance are needed.
What It Adds
| Content | Details |
|---|
| Guardian Sister | Custom NPC — female, tactical appearance, armed with a crossbow |
| Guardian Sister Spawn Egg | Creative-mode item for manually spawning a Sister |
Abilities And Mechanics
Combat
- Sisters scan for hostile mobs within 24 blocks and attack on sight.
- Their crossbow fires in bursts of 3 arrows roughly every 0.8–1.4 seconds.
- Maximum attack reach is 22 blocks, giving them strong standoff capability.
- They retaliate if struck by any hostile mob, even one outside their normal scan radius (up to 48 blocks).
- Sisters never attack players or each other — only monsters.
Following And Teleporting
- Each Sister follows the nearest player in her current dimension.
- If a Sister falls more than 28 blocks behind, or ends up in a different dimension than any player, she teleports directly to a position near a player.
- The squad fans out in a ring around you so they don't crowd into a single spot.
Health And Regeneration
- Each Sister has 40 HP (20 hearts).
- The squad continuously receives a Regeneration effect, keeping Sisters topped up between fights.
Respawning
- The squad always targets a count of 10 Sisters.
- If Sisters are killed, missing members are replaced after four Minecraft days (the timer starts when the first death is registered).
- On a brand-new world with zero Sisters present, the full squad spawns immediately.
Loot
When a Guardian Sister is defeated, she may drop:
- 0–2 Arrows (Looting increases the maximum by 1)
- Her equipped Crossbow (may carry a random enchantment; Looting can improve drop chance)
Progression And Strategy
- Early game: The squad spawns right away, giving you instant ranged backup before you have any gear of your own. Let the Sisters clear out cave entrances or defend your base while you gather resources.
- Exploring new dimensions: When you step through a portal, the Sisters teleport to you automatically. No need to wait or lead them through.
- Keeping the squad strong: Sisters heal passively, so minor skirmishes are self-correcting. Large-scale fights (e.g., raids or mob farms) may kill several at once. After that happens, expect to wait roughly four in-game days before replacements arrive — plan accordingly.
- Loot farming: Looting-enchanted weapons on your end do not apply to Sister drops, but Sisters themselves can spawn with Looting on their crossbow, improving what they drop when defeated. Check their gear if you need arrows in a pinch.
- Multiplayer: The squad follows the nearest player per-Sister, so in a group the Sisters naturally spread between players and provide wider coverage.
