Guardian Companion

Quickstart

1. Gather 2 Gold Ingots, 2 Redstone, and 1 Diamond.
2. Craft a Guardian Summoning Charm at a Crafting Table:

1. Hold the charm in your hand and use it (right-click / tap the use button). Your Guardian Companion spawns right beside you, named after your character.
2. She immediately begins following you and will attack any nearby monsters on her own — no further setup needed.

Overview

Guardian Companion adds a humanoid female companion to your world. She wears a custom athletic outfit and uses a player-style model, so she blends naturally into the game's visual style. Once summoned, she acts as a fully autonomous bodyguard: following you around, closing the gap if she falls behind, and fighting hostile monsters on sight — all without any menus or commands to manage.

How To Use

Summoning with the Charm Hold the Guardian Summoning Charm and use it. The companion spawns next to you, receives your name as her name tag (e.g. Steve's Guardian), and a confirmation message appears on screen. The charm is consumed on use, so craft or keep extras if you want to resummon her.

Summoning via Spawn Egg or Command In Creative mode, find the Guardian Companion Spawn Egg in the items inventory and place it to spawn her instantly. You can also use the Bedrock summon command:

/summon com_guardian_companion_7gvwm4wi:guardian_companion

Renaming The companion can be renamed with a Name Tag at an Anvil, just like vanilla mobs.

Abilities And Mechanics

Following The companion continuously tracks the nearest player within 48 blocks. She walks toward you whenever you are more than 4 blocks away. If she ends up more than 24 blocks away — for example after you sprint through a cave or teleport — she instantly teleports to your side so she is never truly lost.

Combat She scans for any monster-family hostile mob within 18 blocks. When one is detected she pursues and attacks it with melee strikes, dealing 5 damage per hit. She also retaliates automatically if anything strikes her. While she is engaged in combat her follow routine pauses so she can focus on the fight.

Stats

Drops The companion drops nothing on death, so treat her well and resummon her with a new charm if needed.

Crafting And Obtaining

Guardian Summoning Charm

Craft at any Crafting Table. The charm stacks to 1, so keep a few spares in your inventory for quick resummoning after tough fights.

Progression And Strategy

• Early game: Gather the relatively accessible materials (gold, redstone, diamond) as soon as you reach the mid-game and craft your first charm before venturing into dangerous areas.
• Caves and dungeons: The companion's teleport safety net means you can run freely without babysitting her pathing — she will catch up.
• Multiple players: Each player on the server can have their own Guardian Companion. Each companion follows the nearest player in range, so in group play they naturally spread between nearby teammates.
• Keep spare charms: Since the companion drops nothing and the charm is consumed on summon, carrying one or two extras lets you quickly resummon her if she dies in a difficult fight.
