The Grim Harbinger is a powerful scythe-style weapon with an aggressive visual identity — a flipped scythe blade texture that sets it apart from every other weapon in the game. It combines devastating melee reach, a ranged sonic attack, and an explosive throw into a single item, and it accepts every enchantment in the game simultaneously, making it one of the most customisable weapons available.

Swing the scythe at enemies in front of you. It deals 26 attack damage with 5 attack speed and has extended reach, allowing you to hit targets farther away than a standard sword. Its cleave effect deals damage to multiple enemies caught in the arc, making it especially effective against groups.

While sneaking, right-clicking tosses a primed black TNT in the direction you are looking. It arcs forward, detonates after a short fuse (~3 seconds), and is accompanied by a burst of dark particles and the TNT-priming sound. The Grim Harbinger accepts every enchantment in the game — including those normally restricted to swords, bows, crossbows, armor, tridents, axes, and other tools. You can stack all of them simultaneously using:
This means you can combine Sharpness, Power, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Knockback, Fire Aspect, Looting, Unbreaking, Mending, Protection, Feather Falling, Riptide, Loyalty, and more — all on the same weapon.
The sonic-boom beam bypasses active shields by disabling them for 5 seconds on hit — enemies holding shields cannot block your follow-up melee swings during that window.
The sonic beam and the TNT toss each track their own cooldown independently. You can toss TNT without affecting the beam's cooldown and vice versa, allowing for rapid multi-ability combos.
