Gravity Fields

Quickstart

1. Head out into the world and start digging — Gravity Fields adds new ores (Potassum, Sodum, Chrome, and Gravity) that spawn alongside natural Gravity Grass, Gravity Dirt, Gravity Stone, and glowing Space Glow blocks.
2. Mine Gravity Ore with a pickaxe to collect Gravity Ingots in bulk (4-8 per block) — these are the key material for a full set of tools and weapons.
3. Craft the Gravity tool set (sword, pickaxe, axe, hoe, shovel) using Gravity Ingots and sticks, just like vanilla diamond tools.
4. Mine Chrome Ore for a direct source of Chrome Ingots, a rare crafting material.
5. Combine Potassum and Sodum Ingots with a potion to brew Salene, a healing item, or gather Hydra Tenticles and Hydra Ash to craft a Gravity Lighter.
6. Get your hands on a Gravity Gun — right-click entities to levitate them, or right-click blocks to lift them one space upward.

Overview

Gravity Fields introduces a themed set of ores, natural terrain blocks, and gravity-powered tools and gadgets. Players explore for new ore types, refine them into ingots, and use those ingots to craft an upgraded toolkit and a pair of unique gravity-manipulation items. The mod centers on mining progression paired with a few standout magical tools.

• Gravity Lighter — a crafted tool made from Hydra Tenticles and Hydra Ash
• Gravity Gun — a special weapon/tool that manipulates gravity
• Salene — a consumable healing item

How To Use

• Mining ores: All ores require a tool capable of mining stone-tier blocks or better. Break them to collect their ingots directly, or use a furnace as needed for other refining.
• Gravity Gun: Right-click (use) on a living entity to launch it into the air with a short Levitation effect. Right-click on a solid block to lift it one block upward, provided the space above is empty. Each use consumes a small amount of durability (768 max).
• Salene: Right-click to consume it. It heals you instantly and grants a short burst of Regeneration, then goes on a short cooldown before it can be used again.
• Gravity Tools: Function like their vanilla diamond counterparts — mine, chop, dig, and till with improved stats, and fight with the Gravity Sword and Axe.

Ores are found by exploring and mining underground or through Gravity Fields terrain. Once you have ingots, craft the following:

Gravity Tool Set

Sword pattern is one of the tool set — Pickaxe, Axe, Hoe, and Shovel also use Gravity Ingots with sticks:

The Gravity Gun is not crafted from a recipe in the crafting table; obtain it through creative inventory or other in-world means.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Levitation Effect: The Gravity Gun applies a short Levitation status effect to any living entity it's used on, lifting them into the air briefly.
• Block Lifting: The Gravity Gun can also relocate a solid block one space upward, useful for quick terrain adjustments — it only works when the space above the target block is empty.
• Healing & Regeneration: Salene instantly restores health and grants Regeneration, functioning as a portable healing item with a cooldown to prevent spamming.
• Durability: The Gravity Gun and Gravity Lighter have limited uses per item — the Gravity Gun loses durability each time it manipulates an entity or block.

Progression And Strategy

Start by locating and mining the common Potassum and Sodum Ores to stock up on basic ingots, then push toward Gravity Ore for the bulk of ingots needed to build the full Gravity tool set. Chrome Ore provides a rarer material that stands as a mining milestone. Once tools are secured, gather Hydra Tenticles and Hydra Ash to unlock the Gravity Lighter, and keep a stash of Salene on hand for sustain during long expeditions through the Gravity Fields. The Gravity Gun rewards players who want a more chaotic playstyle — using it to fling enemies into the air or rearrange the battlefield's terrain on the fly.
