Craft a Gravefinder Compass to find where you last fell, even across dimensions.
Mod Wiki
Gravefinder Compass
Quickstart
- Craft a Gravefinder Compass using a Recovery Compass, paper, an Ender Pearl, and redstone:
- After you die, check chat for your death coordinates and dimension. You can also hold the compass and use it to display your recorded last death location again.
- Use the dimension shown with the coordinates to know where to travel, especially if you died somewhere other than your current dimension.
Overview
The Gravefinder Compass helps you look up your most recent death location. It reports coordinates and the dimension in chat; it does not point toward the location or transport you there.
How To Use
- On death: The mod displays your death coordinates and dimension in chat automatically.
- Use the compass: Use it while holding it to print your recorded last death location in chat.
- No recorded location: Using the compass displays a message saying that no death location has been recorded yet.
The compass reports your last death, not a history of earlier deaths. Note down the coordinates and dimension if you want to keep them for later.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft one compass from a Recovery Compass, paper, an Ender Pearl, and redstone. The recipe is shapeless. The item is also available in the Tools & Utilities tab in Creative mode.
