Quickstart

1. Collect Grass Blocks — you'll need up to 24 total for the full set.
2. Craft each armor piece at a crafting table (recipes below) and equip all four.
3. Hover over any piece in your inventory to confirm its bonuses in the tooltip.
4. With the full set equipped, you'll passively regenerate health — you're ready to go!

Overview

Grassguard Armor is a grass-themed four-piece armor set. It provides moderate protection comparable to leather/chainmail armor, plus two layers of passive bonuses that scale with how many pieces you wear. The set is crafted entirely from Grass Blocks, making it accessible early in a world.

Per-Piece Damage Reduction

Every Grassguard piece you wear reduces incoming damage by a flat 0.5 points, applied before other calculations. This stacks with each piece:

This reduction applies on top of the standard armor defense values, making the set more effective than its defense points alone suggest.

Full Set Bonus — Regeneration I

When all four pieces are equipped simultaneously, you gain a continuous Regeneration I effect, steadily recovering health over time. The effect is reapplied automatically as long as you wear the complete set — you don't need to do anything to maintain it.

Tooltips

Hovering over any Grassguard piece in your inventory displays two tooltip lines:

• Blocks 0.5 damage per hit — the per-piece flat reduction.
• Full Set: Blocks 2 damage + Regeneration — a reminder of what wearing all four pieces unlocks.

Progression And Strategy

• Early game: Grass Blocks are available from the moment you find a grassy surface, so you can craft this set before acquiring iron or other metals. It fills a useful niche as a transitional set with its flat damage reduction.
• Sustained fights: The full-set Regeneration I bonus shines in prolonged engagements — skirmishes with multiple mobs, dungeon exploration, or boss fights where constant healing offsets chip damage.
• Partial use: Even a single piece grants 0.5 flat damage reduction, so wearing just the boots or helmet in addition to other armor still provides a small benefit.
• Enchantability: The set has good enchantability (comparable to gold armor), making it worthwhile to enchant pieces for additional utility before upgrading to stronger materials.
