Gothic Glimmergrove
Quickstart
- In Creative, search the Nature inventory for Glimmergrove Loam, Nightbriar Log, or any of the named plants. Place them to build a shadowy garden; the plants are quick to break and emit different amounts of light.
- In Survival, explore Glimmergrove areas and harvest the naturally growing plants and Nightbriar tree materials.
- Look for Gloam Moths in dim Glimmergrove areas. To spawn one directly with cheats enabled, use
/summon com_gothic_glimmergrove_opgxkb3z:gloam_moth.
Overview
Gothic Glimmergrove is a collection of gothic fantasy terrain, a Nightbriar tree, glowing plants, and a small ambient creature. Its turquoise, purple, black, and magenta-inspired look suits dark gardens and atmospheric builds.

How To Use
Place the plants on blocks to decorate paths, gardens, and interiors. Their cross-shaped forms have no collision, so you can walk through them. Mix plants with different light levels to create varied pools of light.
Use Nightbriar Log and Leaves as building and foliage blocks. An axe is suited to breaking the log. Glimmergrove Loam can be placed as a full ground block.
Crafting And Obtaining
Find and harvest the naturally generated Glimmergrove plants and Nightbriar materials in Survival, or select them from the Creative Nature inventory. The individual plants and blocks drop themselves when broken.
Gloam Moths spawn naturally in small groups on the surface in dim Glimmergrove areas, on Glimmergrove Loam, grass blocks, dirt, or podzol. You can also use a Gloam Moth spawn egg from Creative.
Abilities And Mechanics
The plants provide different amounts of light: Velvet Bell is brightest, followed by Witchfire Bloom, Starless Lily, Tideglass Reed, and Gravefern. Nightbriar Leaves also emit a small amount of light.
Gloam Moths are ambient fliers that wander through the air. They favor dark conditions and spawn in groups of two to four.
