Golden Diamond Helicopter

Quickstart

1. Craft the Golden Diamond Helicopter item at a Crafting Table using the recipe below.
2. Place it by using (right-clicking / tapping) the item on any solid surface — the helicopter will spawn in the world.
3. Mount the helicopter by walking up to it and interacting with it (the same button you'd use to ride a horse).
4. Fly using your standard movement controls — look where you want to go and move forward. You can ascend, descend, and strafe freely.
5. Dismount by sneaking (crouch button).

Overview

The Golden Diamond Helicopter is a custom rideable flying vehicle built from diamonds, gold, and an Elytra. It features a unique 3D model and can carry a pilot (and a passenger) through the skies at up to 35 MPH. It has no weapons — it is purely a transport vehicle.

How To Use

Spawning the Helicopter

Hold the Golden Diamond Helicopter item and use it on a flat surface. The helicopter entity will appear at that location. Each item spawns one helicopter.

Mounting & Riding

Walk up to the helicopter and press the interact / ride button (the same as mounting a horse). You will be placed in the pilot seat. A second player can mount as a passenger.

Flying

Once mounted, the helicopter responds to your normal movement inputs:

• Move forward/backward/strafe — directional flight
• Look up/down — controls vertical angle
• Backward movement is slightly slower than forward flight
• The helicopter has no gravity, so it hovers in place when you stop moving

Dismounting

Sneak (crouch) to exit the helicopter. You will be placed on top of it.

Taking Damage

The helicopter has 40 HP. Avoid taking damage from mobs or falls onto hazardous terrain to keep it intact.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Golden Diamond Helicopter at a Crafting Table. The recipe unlocks automatically once you have a Diamond, a Gold Ingot, or an Elytra in your inventory.

The recipe yields 1 helicopter item. Place it in the world to spawn the vehicle.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The helicopter can fly over water and avoids damage-dealing blocks automatically.
• It is invisible when given the Invisibility effect.
• There is no weapon or special action — the helicopter is a pure transport vehicle.

Progression And Strategy

• Early mobility: Requires an Elytra as a crafting component, so this vehicle is a mid-to-late game item. Farm diamonds and gold ingots alongside your Elytra journey.
• Two-seat travel: Bring a friend! The passenger seat lets you transport another player across the map quickly.
• Speed advantage: At up to 35 MPH, the helicopter is significantly faster than walking or sprinting, making it excellent for exploration and cross-biome travel.
• No fuel required: The helicopter flies indefinitely — no durability or fuel mechanic to manage.
