Description
Make a variety of Gothy skull and flowers and glowing blocks blocks
Mod Wiki
Gloomlight Skullgarden
Quickstart
- In Creative, find the flowers in Nature and the skull-themed blocks and glowing stones in Construction. Place them to start decorating.
- In Survival, craft Grave Skullstone, then surround one with glow ink sacs to make a Witchlight Skull. The skull emits light when placed.
- Use (interact with) a Gravebell or Midnight Rose to receive a glow ink sac. You can do this once every 80 ticks (4 seconds); the cooldown is shared between the two flower types.
Overview
Gloomlight Skullgarden is a set of gothic, skull-themed building blocks and flowers for creating eerie gardens and builds. Its two glowing blocks provide light, while interacting with either flower rewards glow ink sacs.
What It Adds
| Block | Use |
|---|---|
| Grave Skullstone | Skull-themed building block and ingredient for the Witchlight Skull |
| Thornbound Skullstone | Skull-themed building block |
| Gravebell | Decorative flower; interacting with it can reward a glow ink sac |
| Midnight Rose | Decorative flower; interacting with it can reward a glow ink sac |
| Wispstone | Building block that emits light |
| Witchlight Skull | Skull-themed block that emits brighter light |
How To Use
Place the full-block stones and skulls as building materials. Place Gravebells and Midnight Roses as flowers, then interact with either one to collect a glow ink sac. If your inventory is full, the reward drops at your location instead.
Wispstone emits light level 10, and the Witchlight Skull emits light level 15. The flowers and other skullstone blocks do not have a light-emission effect.
Crafting And Obtaining

| Result | Ingredients | Recipe |
|---|---|---|
| 4 Grave Skullstone | 2 bones, 2 blackstone | |
| 4 Thornbound Skullstone | 2 vines, 1 bone, 1 cobbled deepslate | |
| 2 Gravebells | 1 purple dye, 1 allium, 1 wheat seeds, 1 bone meal | |
| 2 Midnight Roses | 1 black dye, 1 poppy, 1 vine, 1 red dye | |
| 4 Wispstone | 2 glow ink sacs, 1 amethyst shard, 1 blackstone | |
| 1 Witchlight Skull | 8 glow ink sacs, 1 Grave Skullstone |
Abilities And Mechanics
- Interacting with either flower gives one glow ink sac, subject to the shared per-player cooldown of 80 ticks.
- Mining a flower gives the flower block itself.
- Wispstone and the Witchlight Skull emit light when placed; the Witchlight Skull is brighter.
Progression And Strategy
There is no separate progression system. Gather the ingredients for the blocks you want, or start with Grave Skullstone and use it to craft a Witchlight Skull. Use Wispstone for additional glowing surfaces and the flowers to add gothic garden detail.
