Quickstart

1. At a crafting table, make one of the fixture items using a recipe in Crafting And Obtaining.
2. Hold the item and place it where you want the fixture. Leave open space for the rest of its model to appear.
3. Try the wall sconce by a doorway, the floor lamp in a corner, the table lamp on a desk, or the chandelier in a room with plenty of headroom.

The fixtures face the direction you place them. They are decorative; use a separate light source when you need block light.

Overview

Gloomglow Fixtures offers four gothic-style furnishings in amethyst, emerald, and ruby designs. Each is crafted as a placeable item, and placing it assembles the fixture’s model automatically.

What It Adds

How To Use

Place a fixture item in a clear area so its full model has room to appear. The sconce and table lamp spread across more than one block; the chandelier also extends beyond its placement point, and the floor lamp rises about three blocks tall.

Fixtures have no visible switch or other interaction. They provide a decorative, bright-looking finish, but don’t rely on them for gameplay lighting.

Crafting And Obtaining

All four fixture items are made at a crafting table.

Gothic Amethyst Chandelier — chains, an amethyst shard, iron ingots, and glowstone dust.

Gothic Emerald Floor Lamp — chains, iron ingots, and glowstone dust.

Gothic Amethyst Wall Sconce — an iron ingot, glowstone dust, and an amethyst shard.

Gothic Ruby Table Lamp — redstone, iron ingots, and glowstone dust.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Placing an item assembles its fixture from multiple blocks.
• Fixtures face according to the direction you place them.
• The fixtures are decorative and do not provide block light. Use another light source if you need to illuminate an area.
