Gloamwood Mythic Companions

v9MC Bedrock

Description

Add customizable, realistic Minecraft fairies and mythical animals. Every creature should match the gothic enchanted-forest theme and be available in four color variations: black and purple, black and turquoise, magenta and black, and emerald green. * Fairies: Small magical companions that players must feed and care for. Players can customize their appearance and assign them useful tasks, such as collecting crops, gathering nearby items, tending farmland, or following the player. * Foxes: Realistic enchanted foxes that players can feed and tame. Once tamed, they can be commanded to sit, stay, or follow their owner. * Dragon-Winged Horses: Realistic magical horses with dragon wings along their sides. Players must feed and tame them before they can be ridden. Once tamed, they can travel on land and fly through the air. * Venom-Inspired Cats: Realistic enchanted cats with dark, symbiote-inspired markings and features. Players can feed and tame them, then command them to follow, sit, or stay. * Rideable Wolves: Large, realistic mythical wolves that players must feed and tame. Once tamed, players can ride them and command them to follow, sit, or stay. * Winged Mythical Deer: Elegant, realistic enchanted deer with magical wings. Players must feed and tame them, then choose whether they follow, stay nearby, or roam freely. Each creature should have unique animations, favorite foods, taming requirements, health levels, and customizable names. Their designs should remain recognizable as Minecraft creatures while having detailed textures, glowing accents, and a realistic fantasy appearance. Make this a Add On

Gloamwood Mythic Companions

Quickstart

  1. In Creative, find a companion’s spawn egg in the inventory. In Survival, look for wild creatures in their habitats below.
  2. Hold suitable food and use it on a wild companion until hearts appear. Check the taming and feeding table for foods.
  3. Craft a Companion Whistle. Hold it and use it within 10 blocks of a tamed companion to open its profile.
  4. Try setting a Gloam Fairy to gather dropped items, harvest mature crops, or tend farmland. Craft and use the Pet Field Guide for in-game tips.

Overview

Wild Gloam Fairies appear in forests, birch forests, and swamps; Gloam Foxes in taigas and groves; and Mythic Wolves in taigas and some groves. Winged Mythical Deer appear around snowy slopes and jagged or frozen peaks. Gloam Bees appear in plains, sunflower plains, and flower forests. Gloam Chickens spawn on grassy ground in suitable biomes, and Gloam Fish in oceans. Spawn eggs are another way to try the creatures in Creative.

How To Use

  • Tame a wild companion: Hold its taming food and use it on the creature; keep trying until hearts appear.
  • Open a profile: Use the Companion Whistle near a tamed companion. It selects a nearby companion, preferring a tamed one. The profile lets you set a name, appearance, and behavior. It also offers headwear options such as caps, helmets, and a carved pumpkin.
  • Set behavior: Most companions can follow, sit and stay, or roam nearby. A Fairy has additional work orders.
  • Read the guide: Use the Pet Field Guide to open its Getting Started, Feeding & Taming, and Commands & Care pages.

Use spawn eggs from the Creative inventory, or search the listed habitats for wild creatures. Wild companions must be tamed before you can give them profile commands.

Abilities And Mechanics

Fairy work orders are set from its profile:

  • Gather nearby items to collect nearby drops.
  • Harvest mature crops to pick ripe wheat, carrots, potatoes, or beetroot.
  • Tend nearby farmland to turn nearby dirt and grass blocks into farmland.

The Companion Whistle’s profile also shows a companion’s health, hunger, favorite food, and movement. Your owned companion’s health and hunger appear on the HUD when it is close. Hunger gradually decreases; feed companions to restore it, since an empty hunger bar causes damage over time. Favorite foods restore more hunger.

Progression And Strategy

Start by taming a creature with food you can gather nearby, then use its profile to choose a name, color, and behavior. Keep its favorite food handy for better hunger recovery. Try a Fairy’s work orders near a garden, and tame a Mythic Wolf or Dragon-Winged Horse when you want a ride.
