Glimmerwood Forest

Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, search the inventory for Glimmer Loam, Glimmerwood Log, Dreamwood Log, Glimmer Leaves, and Starlight Bloom. Place them to make a glowing woodland display.
2. Find the Glimmer Sprite Spawn Egg in the Spawn Eggs tab and use it to spawn a sprite. You can also use /summon com_glimmerwood_forest_syq5c4la:glimmer_sprite.
3. Use the interact button on a sprite without sneaking to give it an item or retrieve the item it is carrying. Try placing a note block nearby and giving the sprite an item to carry.

Overview

Glimmerwood Forest is centered on enchanted woodland scenery: two kinds of logs, luminous foliage and flowers, and a small flying sprite. The glowing blocks can light and decorate a forest build, while sprites can carry items.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Place Glimmer Leaves and Starlight Blooms wherever you want extra light: the leaves emit light level 12, and the blooms emit level 15.
• Use Glimmerwood and Dreamwood Logs as building blocks; both can be used as fuel.
• Interact with a Glimmer Sprite while not sneaking to give it an item or take its carried item. Once it is holding an item, it can pick up dropped copies and bring items toward its owner or a nearby note block.
• Sprites are set to spawn on the surface of the Glimmerwood biome on Glimmer Loam, usually in groups of one or two. Use a spawn egg if you want to place one directly.

Crafting And Obtaining

The custom blocks and sprite spawn egg are available in the Creative inventory by searching their names. No crafting recipes are listed for this content.

Glimmer Leaves and Starlight Blooms are useful for lighting builds; breaking a Starlight Bloom yields glowstone dust rather than the bloom itself.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Glimmer Leaves emit light level 12; Starlight Blooms emit light level 15 and have no collision.
• Glimmer Sprites hover and can carry one item at a time. They can be leashed, and lava harms them.
• Both custom logs burn as fuel.

Progression And Strategy

Start by placing logs and Glimmer Leaves to shape the woodland, then use Starlight Blooms for the brightest points of light. Add a note block and a sprite carrying an item to try its item-delivery behavior. Keep sprites away from lava.
