Gentle Honeybee

Quickstart

1. Open the Creative inventory and select the Gentle Honeybee spawn egg from the Spawn Eggs tab.

2. Use the egg on a block to spawn a Gentle Honeybee.

3. Watch it fly around, seek flowers, and interact with bee nests without worrying about being stung.

4. In commands, you can summon one with:

   /summon gentle-honeybee-uf2fq4ah:gentle_honeybee_uf2fq4ah
   

Gentle Honeybees can also spawn naturally in the Overworld.

Overview

The Gentle Honeybee is a peaceful bee variant. It keeps the familiar bee-like appearance and behavior while removing its hostile response: it never stings or damages other entities.

How To Use

Spawning With The Egg

Find the Gentle Honeybee spawn egg in the Creative inventory's Spawn Eggs tab. Right-click a suitable block to place the bee in the world.

Natural Spawning

Gentle Honeybees are passive creature mobs that can appear naturally in the Overworld. You may encounter groups of one or two while exploring.

Summoning

Use the entity ID with /summon:

/summon gentle-honeybee-uf2fq4ah:gentle_honeybee_uf2fq4ah

Abilities And Mechanics

• Gentle Honeybees fly like regular bees.
• They seek out flowers.
• They retain normal bee nest behavior.
• They do not acquire attack targets when provoked.
• They cannot sting or deal damage through their attack.
• Their peaceful behavior makes them useful for decorative gardens, apiaries, and wildlife areas.

Crafting And Obtaining

The spawn egg is available directly in the Spawn Eggs Creative inventory tab. Gentle Honeybees can also spawn naturally in the Overworld or be created with the summon command.

There is no crafting recipe for the spawn egg.

Progression And Strategy

Use Gentle Honeybees to populate flower gardens and bee-themed builds without creating a hostile situation. Place flowers near nests or decorative apiaries to encourage natural bee activity, then observe their flight and flower-seeking behavior without needing protective equipment.
