Quickstart

1. Get Gelatin Mix, the base ingredient for almost everything in this mod. Craft it from a bone:

1. Combine Gelatin Mix with a block, food, or material to make a Jelly. For example, mix it with dirt for .
2. Add sugar to any jelly recipe instead of leaving it plain to get a sweeter Jellybean version instead, made in stacks of 8.
3. Craft a Jelly Block by surrounding a slime block with Gelatin Mix, then turn it into stairs or slabs for building.
4. Try crafting a Jelly Wand or Jellybean Wand for some squishy magic, or a Jelly Sword and Jelly Shield for jiggly combat gear.
5. Craft Cat Jelly or Dog Jelly, then use them to craft Jelly Cat and Jelly Dog spawn eggs to bring your own pet jellies into the world.

Overview

Gelatin Factory turns ordinary Minecraft blocks, foods, mobs, and dyes into a huge family of wobbly "jelly" items. Every jelly has two forms: a plain gelatinous chunk modeled after its source material, and a candy-like jellybean version. Beyond the item collection, the mod also adds jelly-themed building blocks, tools, armor, wands, a pet-spawning system, and a decorative billboard.

What It Adds

• Gelatin Mix – the universal crafting base for all jellies, made from bones.
• Block Jellies – wobbly versions of terrain and building blocks (Dirt, Stone, Concrete, Leaf, Sand, Glass, Ice, Clay, Netherrack, Obsidian).
• Color Jellies – jellies made from dye, covering the full rainbow (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple, Orange, Pink, Cyan, Lime, Black, White).
• Food Jellies – jelly versions of cooked meats, fish, fruits, and vegetables (Beef, Chicken, Pork, Mutton, Rabbit, Fish, Cod, Salmon, Tropical Fish, Pufferfish, Carrot, Potato, Beetroot, Corn, Pumpkin, Melon, Sweet Berry, Apple, Egg).
• Mob Jellies – jellies themed after hostile and passive mobs (Zombie, Skeleton, Spider, Creeper, Enderman, Blaze, Witch, Ghast, Guardian, Piglin, Iron Golem, Phantom, Horse) plus special Cat Jelly and Dog Jelly used for taming/pet spawning.
• Jellybeans – sugared, candy versions of nearly every jelly, crafted in batches of 8.
• Jelly Blocks and Building Set – Jelly Block, Jelly Slab, and Jelly Stairs for building squishy structures.
• Jelly Gear – Jelly Sword, Jelly Shield, Jelly Hat, Jelly Jacket, Jelly Jeans, and Jellybean Boots.
• Jelly Wands – a Jelly Wand and a Jellybean Wand for special effects.
• Jelly Dispenser – a special dispenser-like block built from iron, redstone, bone, and Gelatin Mix.
• Jelly Pets – Jelly Cat and Jelly Dog spawn eggs, crafted from their matching jelly items.
• Jelly Beast Billboard – a decorative paper-based display item.

How To Use

Most jellies and jellybeans are crafted the same way: combine Gelatin Mix with the item that inspired the jelly. Add Sugar to that same combination to get the jellybean variant instead of the plain jelly. This pattern applies across almost every material, food, dye, and mob-themed jelly in the mod, so once you learn one recipe you can guess most of the others.

Building blocks like Jelly Block, Jelly Slab, and Jelly Stairs behave like normal building blocks and can be placed, stacked, and used to build structures just like stone or wood variants.

Jelly gear (sword, shield, armor pieces) can be worn or wielded like their vanilla equivalents. Wands are held and used like other wand-type items to trigger their effects.

The Jelly Cat and Dog spawn eggs are used like vanilla spawn eggs — right-click on a block or the ground to spawn the corresponding jelly pet.

Progression And Strategy

• Start by farming bones (from skeletons or bred wolves' drops) to keep a steady supply of Gelatin Mix, since it's required for every jelly recipe.
• Stockpile sugar early if you want jellybeans, since they're crafted in larger batches (8 per craft) and make good trade or decoration items.
• Use block jellies (Stone, Concrete, Glass, etc.) purely for their wobbly aesthetic in builds — they don't replace their vanilla counterparts functionally, but add a playful decorative theme.
• Combine mob jellies with their spawn-egg recipes to build a small jelly menagerie of pet cats and dogs.
• Craft a full jelly armor and weapon set (Sword, Shield, Hat, Jacket, Jeans, Boots) for a complete "jelly" look while keeping some combat utility.
• Experiment with the Jelly Wand and Jellybean Wand for utility effects once you have spare slime balls and dye on hand.
