Frost Stare Enderman

Quickstart

1. Open your Creative inventory and find the Frost Stare Enderman Spawn Egg in the Spawn Eggs tab.
2. Use the egg on any block to spawn a Frost Stare Enderman.
3. Alternatively, explore cold biomes like Snowy Plains, Ice Spikes, Snowy Taiga, Frozen Peaks, or Ice Spikes — this mob can appear there naturally.
4. Approach it calmly and watch how it reacts to you. Try looking directly at it for a few seconds to see its signature "stare" behavior.
5. Stick around it for a while — it will occasionally reshape snow nearby, drop icy loot, and make frosty whispering sounds.

Overview

The Frost Stare Enderman is a wintery cousin of the vanilla Enderman. It has a pale, icy appearance and haunts snowy and frozen biomes. Unlike a normal Enderman, this one doesn't fly into a rage the instant you look at it — but staring for too long is still risky. Over time it can become more comfortable around you, sculpt small snow formations, and toss you the occasional gift of snowballs.

What It Adds

• Frost Stare Enderman — a tall, pale Enderman variant found in snowy and frozen biomes, with its own icy texture and a higher-pitched voice.
• Frost Stare Enderman Spawn Egg — lets you summon this mob anywhere, for Creative-mode use or testing.
• A unique frosty whisper sound that plays periodically around the creature.
• Natural spawning across a wide range of cold biomes: Snowy Plains, Ice Spikes, Snowy Taiga, Snowy Beach, Frozen River, Frozen Ocean, Deep Frozen Ocean, Grove, Snowy Slopes, Jagged Peaks, and Frozen Peaks.

How To Use

• Spawning: Use the spawn egg on any surface, or find one naturally spawning in a cold biome.
• Staring interaction: Looking directly at the Enderman for a few seconds begins to unsettle it. If you keep staring long enough without looking away, it becomes dangerous — so don't lock eyes with it for too long unless you're prepared for a fight.
• Combat: If provoked or attacked, it will fight back in melee at close range. It's a tough opponent, with far more health and reach than a typical hostile mob, so approach cautiously if a confrontation starts.
• Passive behavior: Left alone, it wanders, swims, and glances around like a normal mob — it won't chase you down just for existing nearby.
• Rare snow sculpting: Every so often, the Enderman will pick up and place snow-related blocks nearby, leaving small temporary icy decorations in the area.
• Rare teleportation: Occasionally, it will teleport short distances on its own, much like a regular Enderman.
• Ambient sound: Listen for its frosty whisper — a periodic vocal cue that helps signal one is nearby even before you see it.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Stare Mechanic: Watching the Enderman continuously builds tension. Short glances are safe, but sustained eye contact for an extended period can turn deadly if you don't break your gaze in time.
• Frost Aura: The creature radiates a chill that can affect its immediate surroundings while it lingers in one place.
• Snow Interaction: It periodically manipulates snow blocks in the environment, subtly reshaping the terrain around it over time.
• Icy Rewards: With patience, the Enderman may drop snowballs or other cold-themed loot as tokens near players it has grown accustomed to.
• High Durability Combatant: It hits hard and has a large health pool compared to most early hostile mobs, so treat it as a serious threat if it turns aggressive.

Progression And Strategy

• Treat first encounters cautiously — observe from a short distance rather than immediately staring it down or attacking.
• Spending calm time near the Enderman without provoking it seems to be the safest way to enjoy its passive behaviors, like snow sculpting and whispering.
• If you want to farm snowballs or icy drops, patience pays off more than aggression — avoid triggering prolonged stare-offs unless you're ready for combat.
• Because it spawns in remote, cold biomes, expedition gear (warmth, food, and weapons) is recommended before seeking one out in the wild.
