Friend Flinger

Quickstart

Craft a Friend Flinger at a crafting table:

Put it in your hotbar, aim at a friend within 16 blocks, and use the item. It launches the targeted player outward and upward—try it somewhere with room to land!

Overview

The Friend Flinger is a single-stack item for giving another player a burst of knockback. It targets players, not other mobs.

How To Use

• Aim directly at the player you want to fling, then use the item.
• Your aim must catch a player within 16 blocks. If another entity is in the way and is caught first, the fling won’t affect your friend.
• A successful fling plays a soft pop sound. The item then has a cooldown of about two seconds before it can fling again.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft one Friend Flinger using iron ingots, a piston, redstone, and a slimeball, following the recipe above.
