- Hold the Forging Hammer and tap Use (right-click on Java-style controllers, or the interact button on Bedrock) to open the forge menu.

Overview
Forged Ore Arsenal adds thirteen brand-new ores that generate naturally in your world. Mine them, smelt them into ingots, and use a hand-held Forging Hammer to craft a full suite of weapons, tools, armor, bows, crossbows, and shields — all without a crafting grid. Every ore produces its own themed set of equipment, giving you thirteen distinct material lines to explore and collect.

How To Use
The Forging Hammer
The Forging Hammer is your gateway to all forged gear. Craft it once and keep it in your inventory — it has no durability cost for forging.
- Hold the Forging Hammer in your hand.
- Use the item to open the Forged Ore Arsenal menu.
- A list of the thirteen materials appears. Select a material to see what you can forge with it.
- The next screen shows all twelve gear types along with their ingot cost and how many of that ingot you currently carry.
- Select a gear piece. If you have enough ingots, they are consumed immediately and the finished item is added to your inventory.
- If you don't have enough ingots, you receive a chat message telling you how many more you need.
Wearing Armor
Ore-Forged Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots all equip normally into your armor slots. They are also enchantable.
Using the Bow & Crossbow
- Ore-Forged Bow: Hold Use to draw, release to fire. Arrows launch at standard bow power.
- Ore-Forged Crossbow: Hold Use to load (takes slightly longer than the bow), then Use again to fire. Crossbow bolts travel faster and hit harder.
Both ranged weapons require arrows in your inventory to fire.
Using the Shield
Equip the Ore-Forged Shield in your off-hand. Hold Use to raise it and block incoming attacks. The shield absorbs all damage types and has a brief cooldown after being knocked back by an axe strike.
Abilities And Mechanics
- All forged tools use efficiency and benefit from the Efficiency enchantment.
- All forged armor supports standard armor enchantments (Protection, Feather Falling, etc.).
- The Ore-Forged Sword supports Sharpness, Looting, Fire Aspect, and other sword enchantments.
- Ore blocks require a pickaxe to mine. Harder ores (Dragon, Wither, Black Diamond) take significantly longer to break by hand or with weak tools.
- TNT Ore has low explosion resistance (1.5), making it the most blast-vulnerable ore in the set — mind your creepers.
Progression And Strategy
- Start easy: Netherrack Ore and Aluminum Ore are the softest ores (under 3 seconds to mine), making them good early targets for your first ingots.
- Prioritize a Shovel first: it costs only 1 ingot, giving you immediate returns on a small stockpile.
- Build toward armor: a full set costs 24 ingots (5 + 8 + 7 + 4). Farm softer ores first to fill out your armor quickly.
- Save harder ores for big-ticket gear: Dragon and Wither Ores take the longest to mine, so spend them on high-cost items like the Chestplate (8) or Shield (6).
- Mix and match materials: each forge result is a single shared gear item regardless of which material you used — choose whichever ingot you have the most of at any time.
- Collect all thirteen: each material produces its own visually distinct item set, making Forged Ore Arsenal a natural collection challenge for completionists.
