Flinging Croissant

Quickstart

1. Craft a Flinging Croissant using the recipe below, or find it in the Combat creative tab.
2. Hold it in your hand and right-click to throw it.
3. Watch it arc through the air as a visible projectile.
4. Walk over to where it lands to pick it up — then throw it again!

Overview

The Flinging Croissant is a reusable throwable item. Right-click to launch it as a projectile; when it hits a block or entity it drops to the ground as a pickup, ready to be retrieved and thrown again. There is no durability to worry about, so you can fling it as many times as you like.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Throw: Right-click (use item) while holding a Flinging Croissant. A throw sound plays and the croissant launches in the direction you are looking.
• Retrieve: After the croissant hits a block or entity it falls to the ground as an item drop. Simply walk over it to pick it up.
• Repeat: Because it has no durability, the same croissant can be thrown and retrieved indefinitely.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The croissant travels as a visible projectile with a slight arc, similar to a thrown snowball.
• It deals no special damage — its impact simply causes it to drop as a pickup.
• Stack size is 16, so you can carry a handful for rapid repeated throws.
• In Creative mode the item is not consumed when thrown, so your stack never depletes.

Progression And Strategy

• Use the croissant to lure or distract mobs by hitting them or landing it nearby.
• Its infinite reusability makes it a cost-free tool for testing projectile angles or just having fun.
• Craft a full stack of 16 for extended throwing sessions without needing to chase the item far.
