Explosive Pig King
Quickstart
- Find and defeat a Glitched Pig in the Overworld. It drops a Glitched Porkchop; eat it to travel to The Pigs.
- To summon the main boss, craft Explosive Pig Ore, make an Explosive Pig Sword, then kill a pig while holding the sword in your main hand. The Pig Boss appears where the pig died, so choose a safe arena.

Overview
Explosive Pig King centers on exploring The Pigs and surviving the Pig Boss’s ten-phase battle. It also includes explosive-themed tools and armor, meteorite materials, pig-themed creatures, and Pig Dynamite.
Glitched Pigs can appear in the Overworld. The Pigs has its own inhabitants and resources, including Pig Meteorite Ore, Netherite Pigs, and Pig Villagers.

How To Use
Travel to The Pigs
Eat a Glitched Porkchop to enter The Pigs. Glitched Pigs can spawn in the Overworld and drop the porkchop when defeated.
To leave, use a Rift in The Pigs. Returning this way halves your current health, so heal up before you go through.
Summon the Pig Boss
Hold an Explosive Pig Sword in your main hand and kill a pig. The Pig Boss appears at the pig’s location and targets you. Clear space before summoning it, and be prepared for a prolonged fight.
Pig Dynamite
Use Pig Dynamite to throw it forward. It explodes on impact, causes a powerful blast, and can break bedrock around the impact area. Keep it away from builds and other terrain you want to preserve.
Pig Golem
In The Pigs, arrange four Pig Meteorite Blocks in a T shape, with a carved pumpkin or jack o’lantern on top. The structure forms a Pig Golem, which attacks hostile mobs nearby.

Explosive Pig Ore is crafted from TNT, a porkchop, and a Netherite Ingot. Use it to craft the gear:

Pig Meteorite and dynamite
Mine Pig Meteorite Ore with a diamond-tier pickaxe to obtain 2–4 Pig Meteorite Scrap. Smelt the scrap into ingots:
Craft nine ingots into a Pig Meteorite Block with . A block can also be turned back into nine ingots with .
Craft Pig Dynamite with . Pig Villagers also offer two Pig Dynamite for three Pig Meteorite Ingots.
Explosive Armor enchantment
Pig Villagers offer an Explosive Armor enchanted book in exchange for eight Pig Meteorite Ingots and a book. The enchantment has one level and applies to chest armor.
Spawn eggs
Spawn eggs are available for Netherite Pigs, Pig Villagers, Zombie Pigs, Death Pigs, and Pig Golems. There is no Pig Boss spawn egg; summon the boss by killing a pig with the Explosive Pig Sword in hand.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Full Explosive Pig armor: Wearing all four pieces grants Resistance and prevents explosion damage.
- Explosive Armor enchantment: When a hostile creature damages the wearer, it triggers a blast around the player that damages and knocks back nearby hostile creatures.
- Pig Boss phases: The boss grows faster and hits harder as its health falls. It attacks at close range, throws explosive projectiles from farther away, and summons minions.
- Minions: Kamikaze Pigs charge and explode on contact. Giga Pigs hit hard and inflict Slowness. Healer Pigs restore the boss’s health, so take them out quickly.
- Death Pig: In The Pigs, a Death Pig appears when your health drops to 2 or less. It is especially dangerous when you are already near death.
Progression And Strategy
Start by gathering the materials for Explosive Pig gear, then mine Pig Meteorite Ore for ingots and dynamite. Build a clear arena before summoning the boss: it has a large health pool, uses ranged blasts, and calls in more minions as the battle progresses.
Prioritize Healer Pigs when they appear, and keep moving to avoid Kamikaze Pig charges and the boss’s explosives. The full Explosive Pig armor set helps against blasts; the Explosive Armor enchantment can punish nearby attackers. Be cautious with Pig Dynamite, which can damage terrain and break bedrock.
A defeated Pig Boss drops 8–12 Explosive Pig Ore.
