Eternal Harvest Hoes

Quickstart

1. Obtain the Eternal Harvest Hoes item from the Creative inventory under equipment, or use:

   /give @s com_eternal_harvest_hoes_2nrqvf4d:my_sword
   

2. Equip it in your main hand.
3. Fill your inventory with the planting items needed for the crop you want to harvest.
4. Break fully grown crops with the hoe. The crop is harvested, and one matching planting item is automatically consumed to replant it in the same location.

Overview

Eternal Harvest Hoes are unbreakable farming hoes that automatically replant supported crops using items from your inventory. They work like hoes for preparing farmland and harvesting crops, while removing the need to manually replant each mature crop.

The hoe does not lose durability when used.

What It Adds

The mod adds the Eternal Harvest Hoes item with these features:

• Unbreakable durability.
• Counts as a hoe.
• Can till common soil and farmland.
• Automatically replants supported crops after harvesting.
• Consumes one matching seed or planting item from your inventory for each replant.
• Works with the supported material variants provided by the mod.

How To Use

Preparing farmland

Hold the hoe and use it on suitable soil to create farmland, just as you would with a normal hoe. Plant crops normally, then allow them to reach full growth.

Harvesting and replanting

Break a fully grown supported crop while holding the hoe. If the required planting item is anywhere in your inventory, the hoe consumes one item and replants the crop automatically.

The replanting happens at the harvested crop's original location. If you do not have the required item, the crop is harvested normally but is not replanted.

Supported Crops

The crop must be fully grown for automatic replanting to occur. Partially grown crops are not replanted.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the hoe at a crafting table using a nether star, a diamond hoe, and a stick.

In Creative mode, the item is available in the equipment category. You can also obtain it with the /give command:

/give @s com_eternal_harvest_hoes_2nrqvf4d:my_sword

Abilities And Mechanics

• No durability loss: Harvesting, tilling, and other normal hoe uses do not wear out the item.
• Inventory-based replanting: The hoe searches your inventory for the required planting item.
• One item per crop: Each successful replant consumes one matching item.
• Mature crops only: Automatic replanting activates only when the harvested crop is fully grown.
• Supported crops only: Other plants and blocks are harvested without the automatic replant effect.

Progression And Strategy

• Keep the appropriate seeds or planting items in your inventory before harvesting.
• Carry wheat seeds, beetroot seeds, carrots, potatoes, nether wart, or sweet berries depending on the farm.
• Use the hoe across large fields to harvest and replant continuously.
• Check your inventory when replanting stops; the required planting item may have run out.
• Harvest immature crops manually only when you do not want to wait for full growth.
