Ender Dog

Quickstart

1. Open your Creative inventory and find the Spawn Eggs tab — all seven mobs from this mod live there: Ender Dog, Infected Iron Golem, Ender Golem, Ender Ghast, Ender Cat, Ender Zombie, and Ender Creeper.
2. Use a spawn egg on the ground to summon that mob.
3. Tame an Ender Dog with Bones, then feed it Chorus Fruit to heal it or trigger breeding — normal meat does nothing for it.
4. Try locking eyes with any of the Ender variants for a few seconds. They'll notice you staring, just like an Enderman, and turn hostile.
5. Watch for the purple portal particles that constantly drift off these mobs — that's how you tell an "Ender" variant apart from its vanilla counterpart at a glance.
6. Attack an ordinary Iron Golem yourself or let an Enderman do it — a golem that takes damage from an Ender-touched source can start mutating into an Infected Iron Golem, and eventually a full Ender Golem.

Overview

Ender Dog fills your world with a family of corrupted, End-touched mobs. Each one is a twisted version of a familiar Minecraft creature — a wolf, iron golem, ghast, cat, zombie, or creeper — reborn with Enderman-like instincts: they lurk quietly, radiate portal particles, punish players who stare at them, and can blink across short distances in bursts of purple light. They're eerie, unpredictable, and hit much harder than their vanilla counterparts.

What It Adds

Every mob comes with its own dedicated spawn egg, found in the Spawn Eggs creative tab.

How To Use

• Spawning: Use the matching spawn egg on any surface. Ender Dogs can also spawn naturally as passive creatures in the world.
• Taming an Ender Dog: Right-click it with a Bone while untamed. Once tamed, it follows and defends you, and will teleport back to your side if it wanders too far away while not sitting.
• Feeding and healing: Give a tamed Ender Dog Chorus Fruit — it heals the dog if it's hurt, or puts it into love mode (for breeding) if it's already at full health.
• Sitting: Like a normal wolf, a tamed Ender Dog can be commanded to sit, though it will briefly refuse to sit again right after being tamed.
• Avoiding aggro: All Ender mobs watch for players staring directly at them. Break eye contact or keep your distance if you don't want to provoke one — Creative-mode and Spectator players are always ignored.
• Fighting them: Every Ender mob takes bonus damage from touching water, so leading one into water or rain can weaken it. Be ready for retaliation teleports whenever you land a hit.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Stare aggression: Looking directly at an Ender mob for several seconds (the exact time varies by mob) marks you as a threat and sets you as its target.
• Short teleports: When targeting you, taking damage, or on a random timer, these mobs vanish in a burst of portal particles and reappear a short distance away — useful for closing gaps or escaping danger.
• Water weakness: All Ender mobs take steady damage while standing in water, mirroring the classic Enderman weakness.
• Portal particles: A constant trickle of purple portal particles marks every corrupted mob, even while passive.
• Quiet voices: These mobs stay silent while idle — you'll only hear their chime-like ambient sound when they're hurt, dying, or unleashing a special attack.
• Ender Creeper explosion: Instead of a normal blast, it detonates into a wave of teleport particles that randomly teleports nearby non-creative players and then removes itself.
• Ender Ghast attacks: Rather than launching fireballs, it locks onto a target it can see and periodically teleports that player elsewhere.
• Ender Golem combat: Hits hard, ignores fall damage, and teleports directly behind its target when attacking or taking damage.
• Iron Golem infection: If a normal Iron Golem is damaged by an Enderman or by any Ender-corrupted mob and survives, it can turn into an Infected Iron Golem, keeping its remaining health.
• Infected Iron Golem progression: Left alive long enough, an Infected Iron Golem fully transforms into an Ender Golem in a burst of particles and sound, replacing itself entirely.

Progression And Strategy

There's no crafting chain for these mobs — the intended path is encounter and escalation. Start by observing an Ender Cat or Ender Zombie from a distance to learn the stare mechanic without provoking it. Tame an Ender Dog early to have an aggressive ally that teleports to your side in a fight. Watch normal Iron Golems near Endermen — one may slowly corrupt into an Infected Iron Golem and later a full Ender Golem, turning a friendly village guardian into a serious threat. Use water as a defensive tool against any Ender mob, since it steadily damages all of them while giving you cover from their teleport strikes.
