Description
Emerald Equipment adds a full set of emerald tools and armor—sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots—all craftable with simple shaped recipes and repairable using emeralds, and available in their own creative tab. Each tool grants a while-held buff (pickaxe: Haste, axe: Strength, shovel: Speed, hoe: Luck) and individual armor pieces grant passive benefits (helmet: Water Breathing, chestplate: Resistance, leggings: Speed, boots: Jump Boost), with the complete set bestowing the Hero of the Village effect for a focused progression around emerald resources. Emerald armor is balanced to diamond-level durability, protection, toughness, and enchantability, offering a true endgame alternative that rewards emerald gathering, trading, and crafting.

Quickstart
- Craft the Emerald Sword using emeralds (see recipe below) and kill a mob — you'll receive 1 emerald directly in your inventory on every kill.
- Craft and hold the Emerald Pickaxe in your main hand or off-hand to instantly gain Haste I while mining.
- Equip any emerald armor piece to gain its passive effect; wear all four to unlock Hero of the Village I.
- All emerald gear is repaired with regular emeralds at an anvil.
- Find all items in the dedicated Emerald Effects Gear creative tab.

Effects are active as long as the tool is in your main hand or off-hand. Each tool displays its effect as green tooltip text.
Emerald Sword — kill reward
The Emerald Sword grants no held buff. Instead, killing any mob with it places 1 emerald directly into your inventory (or drops it at your feet if your inventory is full).

Each piece applies its effect continuously while worn in the correct slot. Armor tooltips show a gold hint about the full-set bonus.
Full Set Bonus
Wearing all four emerald armor pieces at once grants Hero of the Village I, significantly improving villager trade prices.
Stats
Tools match diamond-tier capability: 1,795 durability, mining speed 9.0, enchantability 18. They can mine everything a diamond tool can.
Armor matches diamond protection values — Helmet 3, Chestplate 8, Leggings 6, Boots 3 (20 total defense points) — with armor toughness 2 and enchantability 18.
Crafting And Obtaining
All recipes use emeralds in standard Minecraft tool and armor patterns. Everything is also repairable with emeralds at an anvil.

Progression And Strategy
- Start with the Sword — free emeralds from mob kills fund your entire crafting progression.
- Mine with the Pickaxe — Haste I speeds up every session at no cost.
- Keep the Axe or Shovel in your off-hand while exploring for a free Strength or Speed boost.
- Build toward the full armor set — each piece is independently useful, but Hero of the Village makes trading dramatically cheaper, perfectly synergising with the emeralds the sword generates.
- Always carry spare emeralds for anvil repairs on all nine pieces.
