Mod Wiki
Emberforge Pickaxe
Quickstart
Craft the pickaxe at a crafting table using three iron ingots, one blaze powder, and one stick. Equip it, then mine ores as you normally would. Iron, copper, and gold ores drop ingots, while ancient debris drops netherite scrap. Pick up these items where the block was mined.

Overview
The Emberforge Pickaxe is a mining tool that breaks stone and ores quickly and produces smelted drops from select blocks. It requires no special activation: hold it and mine with your usual controls.
What It Adds
One pickaxe with a mining speed of 8 for listed stone blocks, ores, obsidian, and ancient debris. It has 1,561 durability and deals 5 attack damage.
How To Use
Mine a block with the pickaxe. For supported ores, a smelted item appears at the mined block; collect it by walking over it. Other blocks keep their usual drops.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft the Emberforge Pickaxe at a crafting table with three iron ingots across the top row, blaze powder in the center, and a stick beneath it. The recipe is also shown above.
Abilities And Mechanics
The pickaxe produces one of the following extra drops when mining the listed blocks:
| Mined block | Drop |
|---|---|
| Iron ore or deepslate iron ore | Iron ingot |
| Copper ore or deepslate copper ore | Copper ingot |
| Gold ore or deepslate gold ore | Gold ingot |
| Nether gold ore | Gold ingot |
| Ancient debris | Netherite scrap |
Other ores—including coal, redstone, lapis, diamond, emerald, and nether quartz ores—do not have a smelted drop from this pickaxe.
Progression And Strategy
Use it when you want ingots directly from iron, copper, and gold ore, or netherite scrap from ancient debris. Remember that it only smelts the blocks listed above; bring a furnace if you want to process other materials.
