Description
Ember Tide Netherite adds two distinct Netherite armor sets: Ember Netherite grants Fire Resistance while worn, and Tide Netherite grants enhanced aquatic/nautilus-style abilities; wearing the full helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots unlocks each set’s full-set bonuses. Begin to sneak (hold shift) while wearing a full set to trigger a 5-second leap effect, while individual pieces still provide their base effects even without the full-set bonus. All eight pieces now use a dark netherite-style texture with orange ember tints for Ember and blue/cyan tide tints for Tide, and item icons and worn-armor visuals have been updated so you can craft, equip, and visually distinguish each set in-game.

Ember Tide Netherite
Quickstart
- Craft a full set of vanilla Netherite armor (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots).
- Gather orange dye and blaze powder (for Ember) or blue dye and nautilus shells (for Tide).
- At a crafting table, convert each Netherite piece into its Ember or Tide variant using the recipes below.
- Equip all four pieces of a set.
- Hold Sneak (Shift) to trigger a powerful 5-second leap — you'll launch upward immediately with a strong Jump Boost effect.
Overview
Ember Tide Netherite introduces two upgraded Netherite armor sets, each themed around a different element. Ember Netherite is forged with fire, granting flame resistance to its wearer. Tide Netherite is infused with nautilus energy, bestowing aquatic powers. Both sets retain full Netherite-tier protection and durability, add an enchantment glint, and can be repaired with Netherite Ingots. Each set has its own distinct visual style — deep netherite-dark textures with fiery orange tints for Ember, and cool blue/cyan tints for Tide.

Abilities And Mechanics
Per-Piece Effects
Individual armor pieces grant their set's base effect as soon as they are equipped — you do not need a full set to benefit.
- Ember pieces — provide Fire Resistance while worn.
- Tide pieces — provide enhanced aquatic/nautilus-style abilities while worn.
Full-Set Bonus: Leap
Wearing all four pieces of either set unlocks the leap ability:
- Trigger: Begin sneaking (hold Shift) while the full set is equipped.
- Effect: You immediately launch upward with a strong upward impulse, plus Jump Boost V for 5 seconds.
- Cooldown: The leap has a short cooldown (~6 seconds) before it can be triggered again.
Armor Stats
Both sets share the same protection values and durability as standard Netherite armor:
| Slot | Protection | Durability |
|---|---|---|
| Helmet | 3 | 407 |
| Chestplate | 8 | 592 |
| Leggings | 6 | 555 |
| Boots | 3 | 481 |
All pieces are enchantable and repairable with Netherite Ingots at an anvil.

Progression And Strategy
- Gather the base materials first. Both sets require a full Netherite armor set as a foundation, so you'll need to progress through the Nether as normal before crafting either set.
- Ember set in the Nether. Fire Resistance makes Ember Netherite ideal for Nether exploration and lava-heavy combat — you can swim through lava safely.
- Tide set in ocean biomes. The aquatic bonuses make the Tide set the go-to choice for ocean monuments, underwater ruins, and any water-based exploration.
- Mix and match carefully. Each piece applies its per-piece effect independently, but the leap bonus only triggers when all four pieces of a single set are worn together. Mixing Ember and Tide pieces means you lose the leap entirely.
- Use the leap offensively and for traversal. The leap launches you skyward immediately — useful for escaping melee mobs, crossing ravines, or gaining high ground in a fight. Keep an eye on the cooldown before committing to a jump.
- Enchant and repair freely. Both sets share Netherite's enchantability and can be maintained with Netherite Ingots at an anvil, so treat them as permanent end-game armor upgrades.
