Egg Sandwich

Quickstart

Open your crafting table, place a Bread on top, an Egg in the middle, and another Bread on the bottom to craft the Egg Sandwich. Once it's in your hand, right-click to eat it and restore hunger instantly.

Overview

Egg Sandwich adds a single craftable food item to the game — a simple, satisfying sandwich made from two common ingredients. It fits naturally alongside vanilla foods and appears in the Food and Drinks creative tab.

What It Adds

How To Use

1. Craft the Egg Sandwich at a crafting table (see recipe above).
2. Hold the Egg Sandwich in your hand.
3. Right-click and hold to eat it, just like any other food item in Minecraft.

The sandwich restores 3 full drumsticks (6 hunger points) and provides a decent saturation boost, keeping your hunger bar full for longer after eating.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Egg Sandwich requires only two common vanilla materials:

• Bread × 2 — craft from Wheat or find in village chests
• Egg × 1 — collected from chickens

The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world, so no advancement is required before crafting it.

Progression And Strategy

The Egg Sandwich is an excellent early-to-mid game food option. Both Bread and Eggs are easily renewable — set up a small wheat farm and a chicken pen to have a near-infinite supply. With a stack of 64, it's efficient to carry and provides solid sustenance for mining, exploring, or building sessions.
