Quickstart
- In Creative mode, find Quicksand and Lush Leaves in the Natural tab, and Bouncy Slime, Sticky Honey, and the Water Pump in the Functional tab.
- In Survival, use the recipes below to craft the blocks. Place them like ordinary blocks.
- Try walking across Quicksand without sneaking to feel its pull, then sneak while standing in it to avoid its effect. Bounce on Bouncy Slime, and use a Water Pump with an empty bucket to collect a nearby still water or lava source.
Overview
Dynamic Elements adds five blocks for terrain effects and fluid collection. Quicksand slows and draws entities downward; Bouncy Slime and Sticky Honey provide movement effects; Lush Leaves offer another leafy block; and the Water Pump collects fluids from an adjacent source.
What It Adds

How To Use
Quicksand
Walk into or stand on Quicksand to be slowed and drawn downward. Sneak to avoid its effect.
Bouncy Slime and Sticky Honey
Place Bouncy Slime where you want a springy landing surface. Sticky Honey slows movement and can be used to slide down its sides.
Water Pump
Place the pump so its facing side points toward a still water or lava source block. Use the pump while holding an empty bucket. It removes the source and gives you the matching filled bucket; if your inventory is full, the bucket is dropped nearby. The pump works by hand and does not require redstone.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft these blocks with the recipes below. The Water Pump recipe is shaped; the other recipes are shapeless.
Quicksand — 3 sand and 1 water bucket make 4 Quicksand.
Bouncy Slime — 1 slime block makes 1 Bouncy Slime.
Sticky Honey — 1 honey block makes 1 Sticky Honey.
Lush Leaves — 4 oak leaves make 4 Lush Leaves.
Water Pump — crafted from iron ingots, iron bars, a bucket, and redstone.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Quicksand reduces movement and draws entities downward while they are in it. Sneaking prevents this effect.
- Bouncy Slime and Sticky Honey use the familiar movement behavior of slime and honey blocks.
- The Water Pump works only with an empty bucket and a still source block immediately on its facing side. It can collect either water or lava.

This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
