Draftwood Frontier

Quickstart

1. Explore the Overworld for The Draft, a willow-forest biome. With commands enabled, find it using /locate biome draftwood-frontier-zhfo624r:draft.
2. Gather Willow Logs and Willow Leaves. Leaves have a chance to drop a Willow Sapling; plant one on the ground to grow a willow tree.
3. For gear, mine Titanium Ore with an iron-tier pickaxe or better, then smelt it into ingots. Make a titanium tool or armor piece using the recipes below.
4. To meet the wildlife right away, find the Jaguar, Deer, Black Bear, Hornet, and Drafter spawn eggs in the Creative inventory’s Spawn Eggs tab. Use an egg on a block to spawn that creature.

Overview

Draftwood Frontier adds a new Overworld biome, willow wood and soil blocks, five creatures, and a titanium equipment set. Explore The Draft for its scenery and resources, then seek titanium ore to craft tools, weapons, and armor.

What It Adds

• The Draft: An Overworld biome featuring willow forests.
• Willow blocks: Willow Logs, Willow Leaves, Willow Saplings, and Draft Soil. Willow Logs are suited to axe mining; Draft Soil can support animal spawning.
• Wildlife: Jaguar, Deer, Black Bear, Hornet, and Drafter, each with a spawn egg.
• Titanium: Ore, ingots, a storage block, five tools, a sword, and four armor pieces.

How To Use

• Plant willows: Place a Willow Sapling on the ground and let it grow. Willow Leaves can be collected with Silk Touch; otherwise, they have a 12% chance to drop a sapling.
• Spawn creatures: Use a creature’s spawn egg on a block. The eggs are available in Creative mode.
• Equip titanium armor: Put the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots in their matching armor slots.
• Use titanium tools: The pickaxe, axe, shovel, and hoe work as their usual tool types; the sword is for combat.

Crafting And Obtaining

Titanium Ore generates underground in the Overworld. Mine it with an iron-tier pickaxe or better, then use a furnace or blast furnace to make ingots. Blasting is faster.

Craft titanium equipment from ingots; tools also require sticks.

Abilities And Mechanics

Titanium tools have 4,096 durability. Titanium armor provides 10 armor points per piece, with 4 toughness and 0.2 knockback resistance per piece.

Progression And Strategy

Start with an iron-tier pickaxe to collect Titanium Ore, then smelt the ore into ingots. Craft a titanium pickaxe for mining and expand into the rest of the tool set or a full armor set. Save nine ingots for a Titanium Block when you want compact storage; craft the block back into nine ingots when needed.
