Description
Doombringer Zombieblade is a craftable, unbreakable apocalyptic sword you make at a crafting table using netherite ingots, diamonds, obsidian, a wither skeleton skull, and a nether star; it appears as a custom Doombringer sword item in your inventory. On hit the blade deals a scripted 500,000,000 damage (flavored as Sharpness 500M), applies Wither X (amplifier 9), simulates Piercing XVI-style strikes, spawns a tagged horde of 50 zombies around the target, and grants Looting XX-style rewards (20 bonus XP orbs plus an increased emerald drop chance). Use it in combat to unleash instant-apocalypse effects with action-bar feedback; the sword never loses durability, so players can focus on chain-killing enemies and managing the large zombie hordes it creates.

The sword never breaks, never needs repairing, and carries enchant-level stats far beyond anything vanilla offers.
What It Adds
| Item | Description |
|---|
| Doombringer Zombieblade | A custom unbreakable sword with built-in apocalyptic on-hit effects. Found in the Equipment tab of your inventory. |
How To Use
Equip the Doombringer Zombieblade in your main hand.
- Right-click / Use (in the air): Displays a full stat readout on your action bar — 500M Damage, Sharpness 500M, Piercing XVI, Looting XX, Wither X, and 50 Zombies.
- Hit any entity: All effects trigger simultaneously on the target.
After every kill with the blade, 20 XP orbs drop at the target's location. There is also a 20% chance an Emerald drops as a bonus loot reward.
Abilities And Mechanics
Every time the blade connects with an enemy, the following all happen at once:
| Effect | Details |
|---|
| Apocalyptic Damage | Deals 500,000,000 damage — effectively one-shots anything in the game. |
| Wither X | Applies Wither (amplifier 9) to the target for 40 seconds, causing rapid continuous damage and the wither particle effect. |
| Huge Explosion Particle | A large explosion visual erupts at the target's location. |
| Zombie Horde | 50 zombies spawn in a ring around the target, spread across multiple radius bands. |
| Action Bar Feedback | Your screen displays: "Doombringer awakened: 50 zombies rise, Wither X burns, 500M damage dealt!" |
On Kill:
| Reward | Details |
|---|
| Bonus XP | 20 XP orbs spawn at the killed entity's location. |
| Emerald Drop | 20% chance to drop 1 Emerald from each kill. |
Unbreakable: The sword has no durability — it will never wear out regardless of how many enemies you hit.
Progression And Strategy
- The sword requires late-game materials — a Nether Star (Wither kill) and a Wither Skeleton Skull — so plan to defeat the Wither at least once before crafting it.
- Once crafted, the blade trivializes combat against any mob or boss. Its best use is clearing large groups, farming XP, or tackling boss encounters you want to end instantly.
- Manage the zombie hordes. Each hit spawns 50 zombies near your target. In tight spaces or near your base, this can quickly get chaotic. Fight in open areas or be ready to deal with the horde you create.
- The 20% Emerald drop rate per kill makes the blade a solid passive income tool when grinding mobs — pair it with a mob farm for efficient emerald collection.
- The glint effect on the sword makes it visually distinct in your inventory, so it's easy to spot and swap to quickly.
