Description
Diamondheart Bombardier: a flirtatious diamond boss with explosive bow attacks and rare armor drops
Mod Wiki
Diamondheart Bombardier
Quickstart
- A massive diamond-themed boss, the Diamondheart Bombardier, spawns automatically near a player once per in-game day (roughly every 20 real-world minutes of play time).
- She appears about 12-17 blocks away from a random online player with a visible nametag showing her 50,000 HP.
- If you'd rather trigger her yourself, use the Diamondheart Bombardier Spawn Egg from your creative inventory to summon her anywhere.
- Keep your distance and dodge — she fires explosive projectiles at range and hits hard in melee.
- Defeat her to collect diamonds and a set of unique Diamondheart armor.
Overview
Diamondheart Bombardier is a flirtatious, heavily armored boss encounter. She's a towering diamond warrior who taunts players with teasing one-liners while raining explosive projectiles down on them from a distance. She's built to be a serious raid-style fight, with an enormous health pool, self-healing, and dangerous ranged attacks — but she rewards the fight with exclusive armor you can't get anywhere else.
What It Adds
- Diamondheart Bombardier — a rare, powerful boss mob that spawns on its own or can be summoned with a spawn egg.
- Diamond Bra, Diamondheart Leggings, and Diamondheart Shoes — a unique armor set that only drops from defeating the boss.
- A daily boss encounter cycle that keeps the fight fresh without needing to be re-triggered manually.
How To Use
- Wait for the daily spawn — every in-game day, if there isn't already an active Diamondheart Bombardier near you, one will spawn close to a player on the world.
- Or summon her yourself — grab the Diamondheart Bombardier Spawn Egg from the creative menu and use it on any block to place her immediately.
- Engage the fight — she'll notice players within 48 blocks and start closing in. She melees anything nearby and lobs explosive projectiles from range.
- Watch the dialogue — she'll periodically call out flirtatious taunts while attacking, hinting at incoming projectile fire.
- Defeat her — once her health reaches zero, she drops diamonds and her signature armor set on the ground near where she died. Everyone within 48 blocks gets a victory message.
Crafting And Obtaining
The Diamondheart armor set cannot be crafted — it only drops from the Diamondheart Bombardier upon death:
| Item | Slot | Protection | Durability |
|---|
| Diamond Bra | Chestplate | 8 | 750 |
| Diamondheart Leggings | Leggings | 7 | 700 |
| Diamondheart Shoes | Boots | 5 | 650 |
All three pieces can be repaired using plain diamonds in an anvil, and they can be enchanted like standard armor.
The boss also drops 8–16 diamonds every time she's defeated, in addition to the armor pieces.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Massive health pool: The Bombardier has 50,000 HP and continuously regenerates 25 HP per second while any player is nearby, so hit-and-run tactics won't work — you need sustained damage to bring her down.
- Explosive bow attacks: Every few seconds, if a player is between 6 and 48 blocks away, she launches a wither-skull-style explosive projectile at them. These projectiles arc toward the target and detonate on impact.
- Armor-piercing critical strikes: There's a 20% chance her ranged attack lands a critical hit that deals 400 armor-piercing damage directly, ignoring your armor's protection value — be ready to heal or dodge.
- Melee threat: Up close, she swings hard with 23 damage per hit and moves fast enough to keep pace with fleeing players.
- Taunting dialogue: She randomly calls out lines like "Try to keep up, darling!" or "My diamond arrows never miss!" whenever she attacks at range — a good audio cue that a projectile is incoming.
- Fire immune and persistent: She won't burn in lava or sunlight and won't despawn on her own, so once summoned she'll stick around until defeated.
Progression And Strategy
- Bring strong armor and healing items — between her melee damage, explosive projectiles, and armor-piercing critical hits, this fight can burn through health quickly.
- Fight in open areas where you can see incoming projectiles and maneuver, since her explosive shots travel in an arc and can be dodged with movement.
- Because she heals over time, prioritize consistent, high sustained damage over short bursts — letting the fight drag on gives her time to regenerate.
- Defeating her is currently the only way to obtain the Diamondheart armor set, making each daily encounter worth seeking out if you want the full set or need more diamonds.
- If no boss has spawned recently, summoning one yourself with the spawn egg lets you fight on your own schedule instead of waiting for the daily timer.
