Diamond Date Companion

Quickstart

1. Just spawn into your world — your Diamond Date Companion appears near you automatically a moment after you spawn.
2. Walk up to her and interact (use the same button you'd use to trade with a villager) to open her menu.
3. Pick an option: chat with her, have her follow you, trade emeralds for gear, or claim your once-per-day reward.
4. If she ever wanders off or you want her closer, open the menu and choose Follow me to summon her to your side.

Overview

Diamond Date Companion adds a friendly, player-shaped NPC companion who follows you through your world. She's loyal, chatty, and always has good deals — offering trades, daily gifts, and encouragement whenever you talk to her. She also has a habit of replacing ordinary villagers with more companions, so you'll see her (or versions of her) around your world more often than typical NPCs.

What It Adds

• Diamond Date Companion — a visible, nameable NPC entity that spawns automatically and follows you.
• Companion Spawn Egg — lets you manually spawn additional companions if desired.
• Enchanted Diamond-Netherite Gear — a matching set of high-tier equipment themed around the companion:
  • Enchanted Diamond-Netherite Companion Top (chestplate)
  • Enchanted Diamond-Netherite Companion Bottoms (leggings)
  • Enchanted Diamond-Netherite Companion Boots
  • Enchanted Diamond-Netherite Companion Sword

How To Use

• Talking to her: Interact with the companion to open her menu, which offers:
  • Chat & encouragement — she'll send you a random friendly message.
  • Follow me — teleports/respawns her next to you.
  • Companion trades — spend emeralds for rewards.
  • Claim daily reward — collect a free gift once every 24 hours.
  • About the companion — a short description of who she is.
• Daily reward: Once per real-world day, claiming the reward grants 8 diamonds and 6 emeralds, along with a cheerful sound effect. If you try again too soon, she'll tell you how many hours remain until your next reward.
• Trading: Spend emeralds to receive valuable rewards. Trades cost emeralds directly from your inventory — make sure you have enough before trading, or she'll let you know you're short.
• Villager replacement: Nearby villagers in the world are periodically swapped out for companions, so don't be surprised if regular villagers become companions over time.

Crafting And Obtaining

The companion and her gear are not obtained through crafting recipes — there are no crafting recipes for this content. Instead:

• The companion entity spawns automatically when you enter the world, and can also be spawned using her spawn egg from your creative inventory or via commands.
• Her signature armor and sword are best obtained through creative inventory, commands, or as rewards from her trades and daily gifts (which grant diamonds and emeralds you can then use with her trade menu for further rewards).

Abilities And Mechanics

• Non-hostile: The companion cannot deal damage and is immune to fire, so she's safe to keep around in any environment, including the Nether.
• Persistent: She won't disappear from the world once spawned, and only one companion will be actively bound to you as "yours" at a time — summoning her again removes the old copy and creates a fresh one near you.
• Customizable appearance: She uses a wide variety of humanoid skin variants, so her look may vary between spawns.
• Gear durability: Her matching armor set and sword have high durability and can be repaired using netherite ingots.

Progression And Strategy

• Check in with your companion daily to steadily stockpile diamonds and emeralds from her reward.
• Use earned emeralds on her trade menu to convert them into useful rewards without needing to hunt down traditional villager trades.
• Equip her matching Diamond-Netherite gear set for strong, enchantable armor and a powerful sword as you progress through the game.
• Keep her nearby as a steady companion for encouragement and convenience rather than combat — she's built for companionship and support, not fighting alongside you in battle.
