Quickstart

1. Gather 2 Gold Ingots, 3 Iron Ingots, 2 Sticks, and 1 Tripwire Hook.
2. Craft the Desert Eagle at a crafting table:

1. Put some Arrows in your inventory — these are your ammo.
2. Hold the Desert Eagle and right-click to fire. Each shot consumes one arrow and deals massive damage.

Overview

The Desert Eagle is a high-powered pistol-style ranged weapon. Unlike a bow, it fires instantly on right-click with no charge time, launching a single high-velocity projectile that hits hard and fast. It is found in the Combat creative tab.

How To Use

• Right-click while holding the Desert Eagle to fire.
• You must have at least one Arrow anywhere in your inventory (survival mode). Creative mode players can fire without arrows.
• Each shot consumes one Arrow from your inventory.
• A 0.5-second cooldown (10 ticks) is applied after each shot, enforcing a deliberate single-shot rhythm.
• Fired projectiles cannot be picked up after they land — they behave like bullets, not recoverable arrows.

• Damage: Up to 9 hearts (18 HP) per shot. Every projectile is a critical hit.
• Projectile Speed: Extremely fast — approximately 50 blocks per second — making it effective at long range with minimal travel time.
• Sound: Fires with a loud, punchy blast sound distinct from a standard bow.
• Durability: 256 shots before the weapon breaks. Each successful shot uses 1 durability.
• Ammo: Standard Minecraft Arrows only. Keep a stack in your inventory to keep shooting.

Progression And Strategy

• The Desert Eagle excels at burst damage — one well-aimed shot can eliminate most mobs and deal serious damage to players.
• The half-second cooldown rewards accuracy over spray-firing. Take aim before shooting.
• At 256 durability, the gun lasts a long time if you make your shots count, but keep spare arrows stocked since each shot consumes one.
• Pair the Desert Eagle with a melee weapon: use it to open fights with a heavy hit, then close in to finish enemies off.
• In creative mode, no arrows are needed, making it ideal for testing builds or clearing large areas quickly.
