Quickstart

• In Creative mode, search for Deepwater Chomper Spawn Egg and use it underwater to spawn one.
• Or summon it with: /summon com_deepwater_chomper_uhhr5r56:mycustom ~ ~ ~
• Try encountering one in a dark underwater area of an ocean. It hunts players who are underwater, so keep your distance—or get out of the water.

Overview

The Deepwater Chomper is a large, hostile aquatic mob. It swims through the water and attacks nearby underwater players. It cannot walk on land.

What It Adds

How To Use

There are no special controls or interactions. Spawn it underwater and approach to see how it behaves. It can target players within 24 blocks when it has line of sight, but its bite requires close range.

Crafting And Obtaining

There is no crafting recipe. Find the Chomper naturally underwater in ocean biomes, where it can spawn in groups of one or two in low light, or use its spawn egg in Creative mode.

When killed, it may drop 0–2 cod. A player-killed Chomper can also rarely drop a bone; Looting can improve the chance.

Abilities And Mechanics

• The Chomper breathes underwater and swims freely.
• It targets players who are underwater; staying out of the water helps you avoid its attacks.
• It has 100 health, so defeating one takes sustained damage.

Progression And Strategy

There is no progression system. For a safer encounter, observe the Chomper from outside the water. If you fight it underwater, keep your distance and be ready to retreat.
