Declined Terms

Quickstart

Declined Terms is an admin-driven trolling mod. No items need to be crafted — everything is triggered by commands.

1. Target a player (requires operator permission): run /T&C <player> to open the Terms & Conditions screen on their client.
2. The screen forces a choice — Escape is blocked. The player must click ACCEPT or DECLINE.
3. If they accept, nothing happens and the mod leaves them alone.
4. If they decline, a relentless Terms & Conditions boss immediately spawns and hunts them down.
5. Watch the white boss bar and the action-bar feedback to track how the hunt is going.

Overview

Declined Terms adds a scrollable, parchment-styled Terms & Conditions popup that server operators can push to any player at any time. The popup cannot be dismissed with Escape — the player must make a choice. Accepting is safe. Declining unleashes a persistent bureaucratic nightmare: a powerful boss entity and, later, a swarm of smaller Paperwork minions, all relentlessly pursuing the offending player until the matter is resolved.

What It Adds

Both entity types render as flat, camera-facing paper images rather than zombie models, and are completely silent (no ambient, hurt, death, or footstep sounds).

How To Use

For Server Operators

All commands use /T&C as the root.

For Players

When the screen appears:

• Scroll through the Terms & Conditions text.
• Click ACCEPT to agree — the mod will leave you alone.
• Click DECLINE to refuse — and face the consequences.

Switching to Creative or Spectator mode temporarily pauses the boss and minions from targeting you, but they do not despawn — switching back to Survival resumes the hunt.

Abilities And Mechanics

Terms & Conditions (Boss)

• 200 HP, deals 6 damage per hit, high movement speed.
• Relentless tracking: ignores walls, line-of-sight checks, and distance limits. It always knows where you are.
• Displays a white boss bar visible only to its assigned player.
• At 50% health (100 HP), spawns 6 Paperwork minions.
• Boss bar is cleared if the boss is defeated, the player accepts, the mod is reset, or features are globally disabled.

Paperwork (Minions)

• 18 HP, deals 2 damage per hit, move extremely fast.
• Each minion is assigned to a specific player and pursues them with the same relentless tracking as the boss.
• Silent — no sounds of any kind.

Action-Bar Feedback

Players who have declined see a live audit on their action bar showing:

• The Terms & Conditions boss's current health.
• The number of active Paperwork minions being tracked, or a countdown to the next paperwork audit.

Death & Respawn

If the Terms & Conditions boss or any Paperwork minion kills a player:

• The killer entity despawns immediately.
• After the player respawns, the Terms & Conditions screen reappears — they must choose again.
• Declining again spawns a new boss, and each decline can make it progressively more dangerous.

Cleanup Triggers

Active boss and minion entities are automatically removed when:

• The player accepts the terms.
• An operator runs /T&C reset <player> or /T&C disable <player>.
• /T&C disable-all is executed.
• The features are globally disabled.

Progression And Strategy

For operators: The mod escalates naturally. Each time a player declines and gets killed, the screen re-opens on respawn and another decline raises their decline count, potentially summons an even tougher pursuer. Use /T&C status to monitor who has declined, how many times, and whether their boss and minions are still active.

For targeted players: Your only clean exits are:

1. Click ACCEPT on the terms screen.
2. Survive long enough to defeat the boss and all Paperwork minions — though an operator can simply send the prompt again.
3. Switch to Creative or Spectator to pause targeting temporarily, but this only delays the inevitable.

There is no crafting, no gear, and no hidden trick. The Terms & Conditions must be answered.
