Description:
Cursed Doomsday Wither World replaces the entire overworld with a nightmarish, Wither-infested wasteland. There are no normal biomes left — only Wither Wastes and Doomsday Wasteland, blanketed in custom terrain blocks and stalked by cursed mobs. Recurring scripted disasters rain lightning and TNT near you at random. Survival means scavenging loot, crafting powerful gear, and learning to live with the constant drain of the Wither effect — because the best equipment in the mod inflicts it on you too.
| Biome | Surface Block | Key Spawns |
|---|---|---|
| Wither Wastes | Wither Soil | Wither Weirdo, Hostile Wither Cow, Wither Pillager |
| Doomsday Wasteland | Doomsday Ash | Wither Weirdo, Hostile Wither Cow, Hostile Doomsday Villager |
| Block | Notes |
|---|---|
| Wither Soil | Replaces grass/dirt in Wither Wastes; drops itself |
| Doomsday Ash | Replaces surface in Doomsday Wasteland; drops itself |
| Cursed Ore | Found in both biomes; mine with a pickaxe (4 s); drops gold nuggets, Wither Stew, or a Book of Wither V |
Biome-themed structures spawn throughout the world: Doomsday Bunkers in the Doomsday Wasteland and Wither Bone Outposts in the Wither Wastes. Both contain loot chests and hostile settlements worth raiding.
| Mob | Biome | Notable Drops |
|---|---|---|
| Wither Weirdo | Both | Rotten flesh, Book of Wither V, Cursed Neitherite Gold Sword |
| Hostile Wither Cow | Both | Wither Stew, bones, Book of Reflective Attack X |
| Wither Pillager | Wither Wastes | Arrows, Book of Wither V, Cursed Neitherite Gold Axe |
| Hostile Doomsday Villager | Doomsday Wasteland | Emeralds, Wither Stew, Neitherite Gold Cursed Helmet |
All custom mobs inflict Wither II on hit. Any mob — vanilla or custom — that gets within about 3 blocks of you also passively applies Wither and ticks 1 damage every 3 seconds, so crowd management is critical.
Dirt Set — Craftable from the start using only dirt. Unbreakable, high protection, and reflective.
Neitherite Gold Cursed Set — Dropped by Doomsday Villagers and found in loot chests. Higher protection than Dirt armor but inflicts permanent Wither V while worn.
Cursed Neitherite Gold Tools — Extremely high damage weapons and tools found as drops or crafted. Each inflicts Wither V on enemies hit, but wearing any piece also inflicts Wither V on you.
Cursed Enchantment Books — Glinting books that apply powerful effects to your gear. Found as mob drops and from Cursed Ore.
Wither Stew — A food item that restores 8 hunger with high saturation, grants Strength II for 20 seconds, but inflicts Wither II for 8 seconds. Can always be eaten regardless of hunger.

Neitherite Gold Cursed armor and tools are not craftable — obtain them from mob drops, structure loot chests, and raid rewards.
Cursed enchantment books are found by mining Cursed Ore, killing Wither Weirdos and Wither Pillagers, and looting Pillager Captains.
| Book | Effect |
|---|---|
| Book of Wither V | Upgrades gear with Wither V enchantment power |
| Book of Reflective Attack X | Upgrades gear with Reflective Attack X |
Use these books the same way you'd use enchanted books — apply them to your gear to make it even more powerful.
Any mob (vanilla or custom) that comes within ~3 blocks of you applies Wither II and 1 damage every 3 seconds. There is no immunity — stay mobile and avoid being surrounded.
Every few seconds, there is a random chance that a disaster erupts near you:
Early game — Use your starter kit. You spawn with dirt gear already in your inventory. Equip it all before you take your first steps. The Dirt Shield in your offhand gives massive resistance but costs you Wither V — so keep food and milk handy early on.
Scavenge immediately. Wither Stew drops from nearly every mob and can always be eaten. Stock up — it's your primary food source and the short Strength II burst helps in fights.
Mine Cursed Ore. It's your most accessible source of enchantment books early on. A Book of Wither V from ore can be applied to your Dirt Sword to dramatically increase its lethality.
Hunt Wither Pillagers and Weirdos. These drop Cursed Neitherite Gold weapons. Getting even one Cursed Sword (24 damage + Wither V on hit) dramatically increases your combat power, but remember: equipping it also inflicts Wither V on you.
Raid structures. Doomsday Bunkers and Wither Bone Outposts contain themed loot chests, often holding Cursed armor pieces and books. These are the primary source of the full Neitherite Gold Cursed armor set.
Balance your Wither. The endgame tension is managing permanent Wither V from your own gear. Strategies include: keeping a milk bucket to cleanse at critical moments, using the full Dirt Armor's Resistance IV to absorb the damage, and timing Wither Stew consumption for the Strength burst during boss fights or raiding.
Survive disasters. When the action bar flashes a warning, sprint away from your current position immediately. TNT tremors are more dangerous than lightning — create space and don't get cornered in structures during a tremor.
