Creeper Sky Fortress

Quickstart

1. Craft the fortress item using the recipe below, or select it from the Creative inventory.
2. Place it in a clear area with plenty of room. The complete fortress assembles around the placed block; blocked spaces may leave parts missing.
3. Right-click any part of the fortress to launch it and board automatically. This converts the structure into the flying vehicle.
4. Aim with your mouse. Press W to increase cruise speed and S to decrease it. Press Space or Tab to drop a bomb pattern of ignited creepers. Press your Sprint key (usually Ctrl) to dismount.

Overview

Creeper Sky Fortress is a pilotable bomber. Steer it through the air and release ignited creepers to explode on impact with terrain, walls, or living creatures.

What It Adds

• A craftable item that places the fortress structure.
• A flying vehicle you can board and pilot.
• A creeper bombing attack that drops ten creepers in a wide pattern.

How To Use

The fortress structure faces the direction you face when placing the item. Right-click any of its parts to board and take off; the structure disappears as it becomes the vehicle.

While piloting, your look direction steers the flight path, including up and down. W and S adjust the persistent cruise speed. The HUD displays speed, heading, and altitude. Use the Sprint key to dismount; right-click the parked vehicle to board it again.

The recipe unlocks after you join a world. Craft the fortress item with this arrangement:

Abilities And Mechanics

• Creeper bomb run: Press Space or Tab to release ten ignited creepers beneath the fortress in two rows of five. They detonate on impact. The attack has a brief cooldown of about two seconds.
• Flight controls: The fortress follows your look direction. W raises its cruise speed and S lowers it; it continues moving at its current speed when neither is pressed.
• Vehicle recovery: If the vehicle takes damage, it ejects its passenger and drops the fortress item.

Progression And Strategy

Place the structure in an open space so its parts can assemble, then gain altitude and line up a pass over your target before dropping. The wide bomb pattern covers a strip below your route, so adjust your heading to sweep across an area.
