Crafted Brews

Quickstart

1. Open your inventory and find the Crafted Brews tab (top row of creative tabs) to grab any brew instantly.
2. To craft, open a crafting table — recipes unlock automatically when you pick up a key ingredient (e.g., grab a Honey Bottle to reveal Honeyed Tea).
3. Craft your first brew — try Honeyed Tea with a Honey Bottle + Sugar + Glass Bottle.
4. Right-click to drink. Your empty Glass Bottle is returned to your inventory automatically.

Overview

Crafted Brews adds five drinkable bottles, each granting temporary potion-style effects suited to different playstyles. All drinks stack up to 16, are crafted at a regular crafting table with shapeless recipes, and always return a Glass Bottle when consumed.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Drinking: Hold right-click to consume a brew (uses the standard drink animation).
• Bottle return: After drinking, a Glass Bottle is added back to your inventory (or dropped at your feet if your inventory is full).
• Stacking: All brews stack to 16, so you can carry a good supply without taking up much space.
• Recipe discovery: Each recipe unlocks in your recipe book when you first pick up its key ingredient — no need to look anything up.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Honeyed Tea — Soothes and heals: restores 2 Hearts immediately and applies Regeneration for 8 seconds. Great for topping off health after a fight.
• Miner's Coffee — Built for caves: Haste speeds up mining for 90 seconds while Night Vision illuminates dark tunnels for 60 seconds.
• Ember Cola — Fiery and fierce: Fire Resistance for 60 seconds keeps you safe from lava and fire, while a Strength boost lasts 25 seconds for extra melee damage.
• Frosted Fizz — Light on your feet: Speed and Jump Boost both last 45 seconds, perfect for exploration or tricky terrain.
• Ender Tonic — Safe descent: Slow Falling for 60 seconds prevents fall damage, paired with Night Vision for 45 seconds to navigate the dark End or deep caves.

Progression And Strategy

• Early game: Honeyed Tea is easy to make once you have a beehive or find honey bottles — use it as a cheap heal in a pinch.
• Mid game: Miner's Coffee pairs great with deep cave expeditions. Bring several stacks before heading into deep slate layers.
• Combat: Ember Cola is ideal before nether fights or against fire-based mobs. The Strength bonus makes it a short but powerful combat brew.
• Exploration: Frosted Fizz helps traverse parkour-heavy terrain or escape quickly. Ender Tonic is essential for End island hopping where falls are fatal.
• Crafting discovery bonus: Whenever you craft any item, there is a small random chance to discover a free brew in your inventory — the more you craft at once, the higher the chance (up to 35%). Keep an eye on your chat for the "You discovered a hidden brew while crafting" message!
