Description:
The Corruption Pulse is a placeable block that rapidly converts nearby grass within a 100‑block radius into corrupted ground — each converted grass block is randomly replaced with coarse dirt, dirt, gravel, or soul soil — and those corrupted positions permanently count as valid hostile‑mob spawn surfaces. While placed and with a player within ~128 blocks it will force‑spawn regular hostile mobs (Overworld and Nether types; Elder Guardian, Ender Dragon, Warden and Wither are excluded) in a 30‑block radius (no spawns closer than 24 blocks to a player), capped at 16 mobs and attempting up to three spawns every ~3 seconds; break the Pulse to stop further spreading and forced spawning, and leave clear ground and headroom nearby if you want larger mobs to actually appear. For atmosphere, a subtle Wither‑like corruption ambience now plays intermittently (checked ~every 5 seconds with a ~25% chance when a non‑spectator player is within ~64 blocks) but it only affects sound.

User request: Create a Minecraft mod that adds a new block called the Corruption Block. When placed on the ground, the Corruption Block gradually corrupts surrounding blocks within a certain radius. Corrupted blocks are transformed into dirt or coarse dirt. Every corrupted block becomes a full spawnable surface where hostile mobs can spawn both during the day and at night. The Corruption Block should visually pulse or emit particles to show the spread of corruption. Edit v2: Update the mod so that all corrupted blocks created by the Corruption Block become valid spawn surfaces for every hostile mob, including Overworld and Nether mobs. Make sure mobs can spawn on corrupted blocks regardless of light level, time of day, or biome. Override any default spawn restrictions so that corrupted blocks always allow hostile mob spawning. If needed, explicitly register corrupted blocks as 'always spawnable' for hostile entities. Edit v3: Update the mod so that the Corruption Block actively spawns hostile mobs within a 30‑block radius around it. These mobs should include all Overworld and Nether hostile mobs. The spawning must work even if vanilla conditions are not met (light level, biome, or blocks), and should be forced as long as the player is within normal mob-spawn range. Also update the corruption system so it spreads up to a 100‑block radius, but only converts grass blocks into corrupted dirt. Other block types must remain unchanged. Ensure the corruption continues to expand gradually until it reaches the full 100‑block radius. Edit v4: Update the mod so that hostile mob spawning around the Corruption Block excludes all boss-type entities. Do not allow the Elder Guardian, Ender Dragon, Warden, or Wither Boss to spawn. Only regular hostile mobs from the Overworld and Nether should appear within the 30‑block radius. Also increase the corruption speed so that grass blocks are converted into corrupted dirt significantly faster while still respecting the 100‑block maximum corruption radius. Edit v5: Update the mod so that the corrupted transformation selects randomly between coarse dirt, dirt, gravel, and soul soil when converting grass blocks. The corruption should continue spreading normally up to its 100‑block radius. Also add a subtle ambient Wither-like sound effect near the Corruption Block. The sound should be low-volume, atmospheric, and play intermittently.
