Description

Hold the collar in your hand and attack another player. The collar only claims player targets and cannot claim yourself.
After claiming a player, press the Use button while holding the collar. Every player claimed by you will be compelled at once.
Watch the claimed players for visible Slowness particles and the message:
I am compelled by the Command Collar.
The collar can also be equipped in the chest armor slot, but keep it in your hand when you want to claim a player or compel your claimed players.
The Command Collar is a wearable control item for multiplayer worlds. Use it to claim other players, keep them slowed, and trigger a fixed compulsion action for everyone under your control.
Each collar tracks its own owner and claimed players. A player can be claimed by another collar holder, which transfers that player’s allegiance to the new owner.
Select the Command Collar in your hotbar and attack another player with it. If the target is a valid player, they become claimed by you.
A newly claimed player receives a short Slowness effect and visible particles as immediate feedback. The collar does not claim mobs or the player holding it.
With the collar selected, use it to activate the compulsion action. All players currently claimed by you are affected at the same time:
They receive Slowness with visible particles.
They speak the fixed message:
I am compelled by the Command Collar.
Using the item does not issue arbitrary commands or let you enter custom text; it performs this built-in action.
The Command Collar is wearable in the chest armor slot. It provides no armor protection. For claiming and compulsion, select and use the item from your hand.
Craft the Command Collar at a crafting table using the displayed recipe:
The recipe uses gold, leather, an iron ingot, and redstone, and produces one Command Collar.
The player who successfully claims a target becomes that player’s owner. Only the current owner’s use of the Command Collar affects that claimed player.
If another player claims the same target, the target is transferred to the new owner and is no longer controlled by the previous owner.
A claimed player remains visibly slowed while the owner is present in the world. The collar continually refreshes the effect, so the Slowness lasts beyond the initial claim.
If the owner leaves or is no longer available, their claimed players are released.
The Command Collar has 36 durability points. Its durability can decrease when used, with damage occurring at a variable chance between 50% and 100%. Keep spare materials available for continued use.
