Coalbound Arsenal
Quickstart
Gather coal, sticks, and flint. Coalbound Arsenal uses coal as the main material for its weapons, tools, and armor.
Use a crafting table to make a Coal Sword, Coal Spear, or one of the coal tools. For the first weapon, craft a Coal Spear:
Hold the Coal Spear and use it while aiming at a target. It launches a fast projectile in the direction you are looking.
Craft armor from coal and equip it in the usual armor slots. Start with a Coal Chestplate for the greatest protection.
Use the remaining coal to make tools for mining, digging, chopping, and farming.
Overview
Coalbound Arsenal turns ordinary coal into a complete equipment set:
Five coal tools
Two coal weapons
Four pieces of coal armor
A throwable Coal Spear with a short cooldown
Coal-repairable armor
All items are available from the crafting table and appear in the equipment section of the creative inventory.

How To Use
Coal weapons
Equip the Coal Sword for ordinary close-range combat. It behaves like a standard sword.
The Coal Spear can also be used as a close-range weapon, but its main feature is throwing:
Aim at a block, mob, or other target.
Use the spear to launch a projectile along your view direction.
Wait briefly before throwing again; the spear has a cooldown of about 0.8 seconds.
A bow-like sound plays when the spear is launched.
The spear is not consumed when you throw it.
Coal tools
Coal tools function according to their normal tool roles:
Use the Coal Pickaxe for stone, ores, and other pickaxe blocks.
Use the Coal Axe for logs, wood, and other axe blocks.
Use the Coal Shovel for dirt, sand, gravel, and other shovel blocks.
Use the Coal Hoe to prepare farmland and interact with hoe-compatible blocks.
Each tool has a mining speed of 8 for its matching block type and can receive the usual enchantments for its tool category.
Coal armor
Equip each piece in its matching armor slot:
Coal Helmet — head slot
Coal Chestplate — chest slot
Coal Leggings — legs slot
Coal Boots — feet slot
Coal armor is enchantable and provides protection comparable to a practical early- to mid-game armor set. Armor pieces can be repaired using coal.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft all Coalbound Arsenal items at a crafting table. Coal is used for every item; tools also require sticks, and the Coal Spear requires flint.

Coal armor is crafted from coal alone. Coal tools and weapons use sticks as handles, while the Coal Spear combines coal, flint, and a stick.
Abilities And Mechanics
Durability
Coal weapons and tools have 203 durability. Armor uses individual durability values, with the Coal Chestplate lasting the longest and the Coal Boots the shortest.
Enchanting
The coal equipment can be enchanted in the normal way for its category:
Sword and spear enchantments use the sword category.
Pickaxe enchantments use the pickaxe category.
Axe enchantments use the axe category.
Shovel enchantments use the shovel category.
Hoe enchantments use the hoe category.
Armor enchantments use the appropriate armor slot.
Repairing armor
Place a damaged coal armor piece in an anvil with coal as the repair material. Coal can restore the durability of the Coal Helmet, Coal Chestplate, Coal Leggings, and Coal Boots.
Progression And Strategy
Make a Coal Pickaxe first to improve mining and gather more resources.
Add a Coal Sword or Coal Spear for protection while exploring caves and the surface.
Craft the Coal Chestplate and Leggings when you have enough coal for substantial protection.
Use the Coal Spear at range against exposed targets, then switch to the Coal Sword when enemies reach melee distance.
Keep spare coal available for repairing armor and crafting replacement equipment.
Complete the set with the Coal Axe, Coal Shovel, Coal Hoe, Helmet, and Boots for a full coal-themed loadout.
