Quickstart

1. Grab a pickaxe and dig into stone or deepslate underground to find Ruby Ore or Deepslate Ruby Ore.
2. Mine the ore blocks to collect Ruby gems.
3. Head to a crafting table and combine Ruby with Sticks to make a full set of Ruby tools and weapons.
4. Equip your new gear and start mining, chopping, farming, and fighting with it.

Overview

Cinnabar Ruby Tools adds a new gem-based equipment line built around the Ruby, a crimson-colored crafting material. Mine Ruby Ore to gather Rubies, then forge them into a complete set of tools and weapons with classic, easy-to-recognize textures. It's a straightforward alternative material tier to work toward and equip.

Crafting And Obtaining

Rubies come from mining Ruby Ore or Deepslate Ruby Ore with a pickaxe. Once you have Rubies and some Sticks, craft the following at a crafting table:

Abilities And Mechanics

• Pickaxe – Breaks pickaxe-mineable blocks quickly and can be enchanted like other pickaxes.
• Shovel – Efficiently digs shovel-type blocks and deals solid melee damage in a pinch.
• Axe – Strong damage output and effective against wood-type blocks.
• Hoe – Tills farmland for planting crops.
• Sword – Standard sword-type weapon, enchantable, reliable durability.
• Spear – The hardest-hitting weapon in the set, ideal for combat-focused players.

All tools and weapons have generous durability, so a single set will last through extended mining, farming, or fighting sessions before needing replacement.

Progression And Strategy

Start by locating Ruby Ore near the surface or Deepslate Ruby Ore deeper underground. Since ore drops are random between 1-2 Rubies per block, mine several ore blocks before committing to crafting a full toolkit. Prioritize the Pickaxe first so you can keep mining more Ruby efficiently, then branch into the Axe, Shovel, and Hoe for utility, and craft the Sword or Spear when you need dependable combat gear. Because all the tools share the same Ruby and Stick cost pattern, plan your Ruby stockpile around how many tools you want to equip at once.
