Cinematic Countdown Bomb

Quickstart

1. Craft the Cinematic Countdown Bomb (see recipe below) and place it in the world.
2. Arm it by right-clicking or applying a redstone signal / fire (same as TNT).
3. Step back — a 10-second countdown appears on your action bar, then the explosion triggers.
4. For the most dramatic experience, craft the Black Hole Bomb and trigger it: watch the implosion ramp up over ~10 seconds, then brace for the ~20-second compact-sphere phase.

Overview

Cinematic Countdown Bomb adds five escalating multi-block bombs to Minecraft, each with unique visual effects, sounds, and destructive mechanics. The flagship bomb is the Black Hole Bomb, which features a cinematic two-phase detonation: a growing implosion that ramps from a starting mass of 400,000 up to a peak mass of 400,000,000,000,000, followed by a powerful compact-sphere phase before it dissipates.

What It Adds

All bombs are multi-block structures placed as a single item and can be triggered by right-click interaction or redstone/fire.

How To Use

1. Place the bomb item in the world — it assembles into a multi-block structure automatically.
2. Arm it by right-clicking the main block, applying redstone, or igniting it with fire/flint-and-steel (same interactions as vanilla TNT).
3. Watch the action bar — it displays the countdown in seconds and, for the Black Hole Bomb, the current mass value as it rises.
4. Get clear — the bombs have significant blast radii and, in the case of the Black Hole Bomb, a strong gravitational pull during the compact-sphere phase.

Abilities And Mechanics

All Bombs

• Each bomb features a 10-second countdown displayed on the action bar before detonation.
• Custom ambient sounds play during the countdown phase (atomic delay ticking or doomsday siren, depending on bomb type).
• Explosion power is substantial — treat each bomb as far more destructive than vanilla TNT.

Black Hole Bomb — Two-Phase Detonation

Phase 1 — Ramp-Up (~10 seconds)

• The implosion begins at a starting mass of 400,000.
• Over ~10 seconds the visual effect progressively grows: size, ring count, and luminosity all increase.
• Mass climbs continuously, displayed live on the action bar, reaching a peak of 400,000,000,000,000.
• Destructive power intensifies throughout this phase — do not assume it is safe just because the initial implosion looks small.

Phase 2 — Compact Sphere (~20 seconds)

• The implosion collapses into a dense, dark sphere.
• Dark particles swirl around it and ambient sounds continue.
• A powerful gravitational pull drags nearby entities toward the centre.
• The action-bar countdown ticks down the remaining time until dissipation.
• This is the most destructive and dangerous phase — maximum gravitational and particle intensity.

After the compact-sphere phase ends the black hole dissipates completely.

Progression And Strategy

• Start with the Cinematic Countdown Bomb to learn placement and triggering before moving to more expensive recipes.
• The Electric Bomb and Antimatter Bomb are mid-tier options requiring Nether materials and rare drops.
• The Doomsday Bomb requires Netherite Scrap, a Nether Star, and Dragon's Breath — save it for large-scale demolition.
• The Black Hole Bomb is the most resource-intensive and most spectacular. Because its power grows over time, trigger it from maximum range and never approach during Phase 1 or Phase 2.
• Use redstone circuits for remote detonation if you want to safely observe the full cinematic sequence from a distance.
